if you want to get scammed use them...no direct debit option use your card details directly alarm bells guys... didn't refund after I inputed my imei number later discovered incorrect phone model was registered! cancelled policy abysmal.
If you need to make a claim with these cowboys, you will be referred to a company called Davies Group, which is an agglomerate of small insurance companies - I would say a hundred or more - which may suggest how anonymous you will feel during the claims process. You are expected to do everything online - no human interaction - and each time you send something to them they take three working days (by their own account) to reply; but in my experience, the longer the process went on the longer they took to respond. What you had, in short, was a slow painful process of wearing down your resolve (and your nerves), rejecting one set of documents after another (WHO DOESN'T ACCEPT PDFs IN 2024??), until - as is clearly their objective - your claim is timed out. They actually took the liberty of cancelling my policy for me, which is perhaps the one thing I can be thankful for. It's the new (old) model of insurance, folks. The process is to frustrate, thwart, and infuriate you with tedious and unnecessary requests and rejections until you give up. (Specifically in my case, they rejected my claim because I couldn't get my phone company [a little supplier called Virgin Media] to send them details of "when the handset was first used." Virgin told me they had never been asked to supply this before and literally could not do so... How do they know when it was used first? They supplied the sale date, but no, that's not enough for Davies. They only ask the impossible.)
I would give no stars if it was an option. Paid premium insurance for 2 years, damaged screen on phone and they want to take phone for 2 weeks for a "possible" repair. Not having phone for 2 weeks is not an option for me. No alternatives were offered and staff were very rude on phone. Recommendation is to avoid, this service was a waste of my money.
Awful!!! Paid for insurance then when my phone breaks they say the docume is for proof of ownership are not good enough. A recipt off samsung and a copy of my finance on the phone apparently isn't proof of ownership!! Waste of money paying them every month and now I'm still left to pay £340 privately to have the screen repaired!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
