I would give zero stars if possible.

Before downloading the software, I identified several legitimate security concerns with the process they were using. Because those concerns were unresolved, I chose not to download or install the required app (HelpDesk Host on iOS). I will not install software on my device when there are real security questions.

Despite never downloading, installing, or activating the product, I was unable to obtain a refund — even after multiple attempts to resolve the issue with support.

Support responses were slow and did not meaningfully address the concerns raised. No practical resolution was offered. Instead of acknowledging that we had found an alternative solution that was immediately available and working effectively, the company continued to push their product and framed it as us “not wanting help,” which was simply not accurate.

Gamblock states that its mission is to help people struggling with gambling addiction. In our experience, that mission did not translate into flexibility, understanding, or customer care when legitimate concerns were raised. Retaining payment for software that was never downloaded or used, while positioning themselves as trying to help, felt inconsistent with that stated mission.

It is also important to note that their solution requires installing a third-party remote access app (HelpDesk Host), which currently holds a 1.3★ rating with overwhelmingly negative reviews on the App Store.

Given the unresolved security concerns, refusal to refund unused software, and the overall handling of this situation, I cannot recommend Gamblock. I strongly encourage others to carefully evaluate alternative solutions before purchasing and to steer clear if you have any hesitation.

If I could give zero stars that would be more appropriate. This is a total scam. When you start to download the software it is flagged by all security firewalls as malicious. When contacting the company regarding this there are lengthy delays in responding and the vendor failed to provide any credible evidence of software safety, refused to offer meaningful support, and ultimately declined to issue a refund despite the product never being used. They are taking advantage of people in a very vulnerable state - pathetic.

3 years of no gambling on slots on my samsung devices :-) I love Gamblock, it is discrete and blocks online slots, it's a life saver. It can be a bit tricky sometimes getting everything updated and working right but the helpdesk are always super helpful. My top tip is *renew early* every time - it just keeps on going!Thank you Gamblock ! (FWIW, I use another product on my laptops, for mobile devices, I stick to Samsung and Gamblock, it's a great combo)

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SERVICE!before i write my personal in depth story, theese are the essentials you should know:PC: after installation by a remote agent from their side, I factory reset my pc and was able to gamble straight away.iOS: After installation i could not gamble on app store casinos but could easily find some online casinos that worked, while some where blocked. their "AI" system that they claim seperate them from other blocking services are completely false. this is not bulletproof since i was able to gamble on both iphone and pc after remote installation BY THEIR AGENTS.my story:bought subscription for pc and ios beginning of may 2025. writing this 22nd of may 2025. TODAY i was finally helped and now have both my pc and Ios installation done.the links they sent for pc installation after purchase were faulty and i got a remote agent from their side to download them for me today..their customer service is horrible and straight up fake. you CANT talk to them through phone, only mail, that should be your first warining sign since their website has a phone inquiery..they show no expertice or professionalism at all.all parties work remote and dont have an afficient way to cooparate. I had so many errors and problems with them AND the installation.. they didnt know the problem and would just escalate the problem to ''higher ups''you can get a response on average once per day through mail, by different people, so the thread gets messy and you dont get any sort of personal contact that takes care of your case.vauge robot like responses, ignoring or straight up missing some of your questions and concernsi saved up my last money for this and sold all my other devices, in hope that i would be safe with gamblock installed on my 2 devices that i know have.after going through hell with their "team" for almost 3 weeks, i finally got it installed on my devices, just to see that a factory reset was all it took to gamble for pc, and my Ios device could within literally 2 minutes of looking find a website i could gamble on.. then they ban that site and ask me to send the others i can access..and we all know that new casinos pop up everyday, so their service is basically useless or as good as other blocking services.I hope i save someone with thisat this moment im currently waiting again.. for them to look into the problem.at this point im asking for a refund that i wont get due to their policy. Even if they make this all work in the end somehow, this review and warning is justified to be published

Dehumanising misleading and poorly managed.

Bought this 6 days ago not knowing how horrible and misleading the support and website really was. Been waiting for a call for 5 days that they say would take around 24h. So thats just a bullshit form they put out. As everyone says. They never call. The Only way you can get contact with them is through mail.. which are 80% vauge auto responses ignoring 90% of your concerns and questions. And you get a response once every 2 days on average. So it Will take like a week to get somewhat of an answer to a basic question or problem that would be Done in a 2min live chat or call..Installation does not work even after complete reset of my pc, while having pc knowledge myself. after submitting proof of me doing everything right but still having problems and begging for help (THROUGH MAIL! since the much easier way would be a 10 minute call to a human for some humane and real contact is impossible)I have yet to been answered in 3 days, while my mails regarding the remote iOS installation progress are answered once a day for now atleast.. So that Will probably take some time to get figured out with how poorly and ”robot like” responses are through mail. When it comes to my iOS i am so scared after reading the reviews. I dont have a ”sponsor” but i do have loved ones and family backing me and supporting me putting my last money to get ”help” (cant afford food now). But apparently WHEN or even IF i can get in contact with a technical agent, i lose access to lots of essential apps like banking, traveling and socialising the first 30 days for no reason if i dont have sponsor..?I dont even have the program installed yet but already regret this purchase after realising a warm, personal and helping 1 on 1 live chat/call is impossible. Cant speak good/bad about their product in itself yet.. so i Wont. But i would strongly be aware of this company as a whole since their outside image does not represent the inside image and values they present in correlation to the relationship with their clients, so i do understand the whole scam hysteria, while i would not quite Literally call it that.. but its not a good look.
