Booked & paid for flight to Dusseldorf earlier this month.
Admitted to hospital with blackouts & cant drive for 6 months, but thats not enough for Eurowings to make a refund. Yes it was a no refund flight. But who thinks they will have heart issues within 72 hours, couldnt drive to the airport, had a heary tracker inserted the day before the flight so wasnt in a fit state.. I presume their no refund policy would still be the same even if I had died.
Never again.

Avoiding this airline is a must due to poor service.

I actively try to steer clear of this airline whenever possible. They provide the worst customer service I have ever encountered, and these issues are not one-off occurrences. I've faced the same problems repeatedly. Significant delays seem to be standard, boarding often descends into chaos, and the cabin crew frequently appears unqualified and unprofessional. I've missed connecting flights because of their delays, received no compensation, and had to arrange overnight accommodations by myself. The most recent incident was particularly frustrating. The airline charges a fee if you don’t check in online, yet the online check-in is frequently unavailable. You end up paying and then must deal with customer service afterward. When I did this, they insisted on proof. I provided a screenshot that clearly indicated online check-in was not available, but they claimed this was not adequate evidence. This feels like a blatant scam that they are now regularly implementing. I recommend avoiding this airline if you care about your time, money, and peace of mind.

Absolutely terrible experience!

I wouldn't even rate this experience with one star if I could! My family member had a flight from a major city that was delayed by an hour, which seemed manageable at first. They had a connecting flight that required self-transfer, and I attempted to check them in online, but I kept receiving a message stating that online check-in was closed and to go to the counter. They arrived two hours prior to their next flight, waited in line for 50 minutes, and when they reached the counter, one staff member tried to print their boarding passes, but only one was successful. Then, her manager intervened and refused to assist! She insisted the flight had already departed at 18:25, even though it was only 16:45 at that moment. My family member was left stranded, with hotels and taxis already booked in Saudi Arabia, and now they are returning to the UK without making the trip. I later checked the flight's departure time and was shocked to find it was actually at 18:57, meaning the staff member had lied simply to avoid helping! It's frustrating to see hard-earned money wasted due to such poor service. I would have preferred to pay extra for a different airline! I strongly advise against using this service and will be disputing the charges with my bank.

Horrendous customer service

My experience with customer service was terrible. After our flight was delayed multiple times, we missed our connection and had to sleep in the airport. Most staff were rude and unhelpful, leading to a very frustrating situation.

This airline is the worst. They deliberately withhold boarding passes during transfers, causing passengers to miss their flights and forcing them to rebook.

If I could give zero stars, I would!

I would choose not to give any stars if possible! My family had a delayed flight from one city to another, and when they landed, they faced numerous issues checking in for their connecting flight. The staff were unhelpful, leading to further complications and unnecessary expenses. This service is infuriating, and I would rather pay more for a different airline!

Unfair baggage policies

I had a disappointing experience with this airline. During check-in, I was informed that my group couldn't carry standard cabin baggage, which was a surprise. I had to pay an extra fee just to take my usual cabin bag on board, despite already paying for additional baggage. This feels like an unfair way to treat passengers.

Unacceptable treatment of customers

I faced a frustrating issue with booking due to a system error. I ended up purchasing the same ticket twice. Although customer service acknowledged the mistake, they withheld a processing fee from my refund without prior notice. This lack of transparency was extremely disappointing.
