I ordered the premium condolence basket. It was stunning and worth the price. Although it wasn't delivered the "next day," I anticipated this due to the differing messages at checkout, but I was overall pleased with the quality of the items and the lovely presentation. 5 stars.
This service claims to provide kosher gift baskets, yet the items I received were not kosher. I emailed them images showing the lack of kosher certification on several products. Their reply was a vague assurance that the items were kosher, but they refused to offer any proof or certification, even after multiple requests. To make matters worse, they sent spoiled cheese. When I called to address this, they only offered a 50% refund on the cheese, citing my choice of 2–3 day shipping. I explained that even with 1-day shipping, perishable dairy should be shipped with ice, especially in hot climates — their packaging had none. The phone call was a nightmare: I was put on hold for over 20 minutes, and it took 37 minutes for someone to say a supervisor would call me back. When he did, he was rude and dismissive, refusing to provide kosher certification or escalate the issue. I even heard clicking sounds, indicating the call was recorded without consent. They continue to deny any requests for documentation to support their kosher claims. This is misleading advertising, and the food was not only uncertified but also spoiled and poorly packaged. ⚠️ Avoid this service. They mislead customers and shirk responsibility for delivering questionable, potentially unsafe food.
We received a gift basket from a business associate who would be appalled to know it contained several non-kosher items. Many products lack any symbol, while others state “made with kosher ingredients,” which is not a kosher certification. The cheeses bear symbols not recognized by any orthodox kosher certifying organization. Sending products marketed as kosher gift baskets that are either entirely uncertified or unacceptable to orthodox kosher consumers is an unfair and deceptive trade practice. I've seen that our experience is not isolated from other online reviews. Yet, the customer service team refuses to exchange the non-kosher items for kosher alternatives.
"I reside in Israel and ordered what I believed to be a kosher gift basket for my brother's birthday. Instead of sending kosher items, the service sent completely non-kosher products. My brother received pork, lobster, and crab. It was shocking, especially since the service is named “Gifting Kosher.” I specifically ordered one of the kosher baskets. I reached out to the service for a refund, but they have declined. I just want to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
