Disappointing interview experience

A very young interviewer conducted my admission interview, which felt more like a job interview. He kept asking me about skills instead of my educational background. I was disappointed that the focus wasn't on my qualifications. After the interview, I had to ask for the outcome myself after a week. This raises questions about the quality of education and support provided here.

Unprofessional and unqualified staff

I faced very poor service as I was refused to present necessary documentation despite insisting. I was threatened with removal from the program if I didn't comply. This institution appears to have discriminatory practices, and the staff seem more interested in personal enjoyment than in their work.

Extremely unprofessional organization

This organization is extremely unprofessional, and the staff are poorly trained and lack competence.

Stay off GBS! Students and job seekers alike.

In my experience, GBS as an employer deserves zero-star rating. I was forced to pick one star only because Trustpilot won't let me provide reviews if without prior rating. Why zero? GBS did not even inform me of any outcome after I applied for several vacancies advertised at jobs.ac.uk, for which I reasonably assume myself to be overqualified. They claim to be an ‘award winning higher education provider’. But what award? How?

an honest review aftr 2yrs at gbs manchester

my personal experience at GBS Manchester has been very different from some of the negative reviews I've seen and I feel it's important to share my side after studying here for two years now. while I can only speak for my own journey, I have found the claims of poor management and low academic standards to be inconsistent with my time here.from the very beginning, the staff and lecturers have been a huge support. they are highly qualified with PhDs , approachable and have made a genuine effort to help me succeed. I've always felt that my academic progress was their priority, and the level of personalized attention I've received has been a significant factor in my positive experience.

Go there for the admission

Go there for the admission. Three guestions. First was between 70 words and 300. Written 264. Second question: 40 words min, maximum 300, write 164. The third one same, minimum 40, maximum 300. Written 132, enough after me. After 48 hours get a email. Sorry you been declined without any other explanation. Do not try to attend this university. Very disappointed.

As a former student who went here

As a former student who went here, i have to say how appalling half the staff were, well below par and their ability to teach classes were a shambles, student support is non existent and when you go there, they all just sit and stare at you with gormless expression like its your job to help and support not stare and pretend to type when i can clearly see your screen with nothing open. On top of that god forbid anything happens to your family as the staff are clearly not trained to help. My experience was a shambles and I have let OIA know of their poor capabilities and bad teaching ethics, my advice to anyone who has been referred or planing to go here please do not they will only hinder your progress.
