We used Greeking.me for our first trip to Greece, and they were fantastic, from the planning to the actual trip, they were on top of everything! We had a few minor issues while we were in Greece, which had nothing to do with the travel agency, and they went above & beyond to help. Our hotel in Crete didn't have any air conditioning, it broke, so Greeking.me helped with getting us a different hotel that had functioning a/c. They were so helpful, no matter what we asked or needed. I'd never hesitate to use them again, and anyone who's considering using them--do it!!! You won't be disappointed!!!
From my initial contact with Nickolas to the finalized itinerary and arrangements with Barbara, we are very satisfied with our interactions with Greeking.me. Barbara was always available if I had questions -- patient and courteous. Our drivers were cautious, friendly, well qualified and always on time. Having them lined up to deliver us to and from the hotel and airport took the stress out of travel! The guides were pleasant, knowledgeable, informative and communicated easily in English. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone traveling to Greece! I'm so happy a friend told me about them.
Our family really enjoyed our trip to Greece. We found Greeking.Me’s choice of companies to work with (tours, pickups) to be excellent. The individual guides- Penelope of Athens Walking Tour; Eva of the Parthenon Tour; Evi of the Naxos Walking Tour; Maria Daphne of the Naxos Cultural Tour; Theos of Santorini Tour were very knowledgeable about history, archeology, and culture. We were impressed on how passionate they were in what they do and their desire to help us know and understand Greece. We found it very useful to have the ‘whispers’ tour audio system in the Acropolis tour. The crews of the boat tours you booked for us (Costi, Tassos of the boat around Milos, and Sofia, Cris, and George of the Santorini Sunset Catamaran Tour) made the tour fun. They helped us understand the islands from another perspective and worked really hard in keeping everyone entertained and safe. Kudos to these and the drivers as well who were always there to meet us and take us to our destinations. I want to make a special mention for Barbara Saranti and thank her for what I feel was above and beyond service. She stayed in touch with us and regularly checked how our trip was going. And when she was out of the office, had her colleague (Nino) follow up with us. When our bag didn’t make it from Naxos for our trip back home, she helped us get the necessary information to track and eventually retrieve our bag. I doubt we would have our bag without her help as the airline never informed us that the bag was arriving. Efcharisto Barbara. Your excellent communication and organization skills resulted in a fantastic first vacation to Greece. You treated us like VIPs during the planning of the trip, the actual trip, and the end of the trip. There were so many things that Greeking.me did that made the trip fantastic. In particular, we were pleasantly surprised to find our drivers waiting for us although our planes were significantly delayed to Santorini and Athens. Moreover, there were a couple of times that we needed to reach out for help resolving some problems (e.g. left cellphone in car, late for tour) that we created. We were so grateful to have the emergency contact phone numbers and were very happy that someone actually answered the phone when we called. As a result we were able to enjoy our fabulous wine tasting tour in Santorini and the insightful Acroplis/Parthenon tour in Athens. We had a great trip arranged by GreekingMe to Athens, Milos and Santorini. Our agent, Nino, was so good about checking in with us during our travel. He made sure everything go smoothly for us. We were happy with both hotels they picked. We felt so spoiled at the lovely Milos resort hotel by host, Efi and her family. Food was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Abelonas hotel was at nice location of Imerovigli, from where we were able to hike part of the Oia-Fira trail. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset at our balcony. Our guide at Acropolis, Nikos, was knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about ancient Greek culture from him. Both sailing trips were the best experiences of all. Such relaxing way to see the islands’ landscapes and enjoy the pristine Aegean sea.Thank you for such a memorable experience!
This team was absolutely incredible, responsive, patient, and overall did an amazing job in planning our itinerary. We loved our trip to Greece, the tours, and the special touches such as the welcome bag was so appreciated. One of our booked hotels fell through beforehand and the team went above and beyond to help us secure a new one.I was quite a needy client with lots of specific requests and they handled my emails with grace and kindness.Best part is that they’re local to Greece so they know exactly where to stay and go.
I am a little late doing this review, however after referring Greeking.me to a friend and hearing about her experience so far, I was reminded. I cannot express enough how happy we were with Greeking.me when we planned our trip to Greece for June 2024. They were great to communicate with, had wonderful suggestions, set up all tours and transportation for everything...every little detail was outstanding. They listened to what we wanted and catered everything to us. I think some agencies have standard stuff that they do for people, but that is not the case for Greeking.me. I told my friend, who is using them to plan a trip for next year, that anyone who doesn't use them to plan a trip to Greece is making a big mistake. I wouldn't dream of using another agency to go back to Greece and I can't wait to use them to plan a trip to Italy as well.
This was our family's first trip to Greece, so didn't know where to even start planning. When i spoke with the initial travel agent, I just told her what our interests were and what we we were hoping to get out of our family vacation. Shortly after that talk, they put together a really personalized itinerary for us that met all of those wants. Our trip was amazing from start to finish! The app they use with the trip itinerary has everything you could possibly need for the whole trip, including emergency numbers, addresses, confirmation numbers, restaurant recommendations, etc.Every detail was taken care of and everyone was reliable with the itinerary we were given, right from our initial pick up in Athens. Our itinerary started in Athens, then to Naxos and then Crete and back to Athens over 2 weeks.We loved the personal tours of the Acropolis and Knossos (on Crete). Both of our tour guides were friendly and really knowledgeable, and could read the room when my tween started looking like it was time to move on :).The personal island/village tour on Naxos might have been our favorite of the excursions, and loved our tour guide, who was like our own sweet little Greek Grandmother. She actually stayed with us for whole time. I thought maybe she would just take us to the places to eat, but when she sat down to enjoy the meal and the morning snacks with us, it made the experience even better. She had so much insight to share and it was nice getting to know her. I don't think the distillery was a highlight of the tour, but it was short, so that was fine. The first two villages were our favorite. Our boat tour on Naxos had to be altered a bit due to high winds, but the crew was great and it didn't feel like we missed out on anything. It was really nice to have other people on that tour with us, from all over the world. Even though we had the only kids on the boat, nobody seemed to be bothered by that. The captain even made a batch of homemade Moussaka for our lunch.We were so appreciative of your team contacting us during our trip to adjust our scheduled beach day on Crete. They recognized that it would be too long of a drive to really have a relaxing day, and changed it 2 days before to Matala Beach, which we absolutely loved, and fulfilled my daugher's want to cliff jump on our trip. It was a testament to how your team pays attention and personalizes each experience. On one of our free days on Crete (Heraklion), we took a taxi to Aparadise Beach Bar on Karteros Beach, and that may have been one of our favorite beach days, so would be a great suggestion to share with people. It was easy to get to from Heraklion and the water was amazing. huge waves, super warm, clean, and my son loves airplanes, so the jets landing at the airport all day just overhead was a bonus for him. We got there early enough to get beach loungers/umbrellas and it was just over 20 Euro for the whole day for 4 of us. My biggest beach tip for a summer trip, is make sure to bring water shoes or cheap flip flops, as the sand at every beach was SCORCHING hot. it was actually comical to watch people plan their route to the water from their own chairs by stopping in other people's umbrella shadows...lol! The accommodations were all spot on. I think our family favorite was Liana on Naxos though. it was so nice to be able to just walk to a bunch of different restaurants and the beach immediately across the street was great. And it was only a 15-20min taxi ride if you wanted to get to the main "city" area. I feel like i could go on and on but i would rate our experience a 5 star trip from beginning to end, and will definitely use Greeking.me when we go back...which we for sure will after this trip.
We had a perfect 10 day trip to Greece thanks to the amazing planning with Greeking.me. From my initial discussion with Alexandra to the operational assistance of Barbara and Konstantina, communication throughout the entire process was excellent. One of my husband’s requests was ‘I am not driving in Greece’ and that was no issue! Our hotels and excursions were all fantastic. Our transfers and tour guides were always on-time if not early, and were so knowledgeable. I needed to change a couple of pick up times while on our trip and after contacting Greeking.me I’d receive a quick email response confirming the new time was arranged. Our ferry was running behind schedule ( not unusual) and Barbara texted me the new departure time. I told my husband and the family next to us overheard me and asked how I knew the new time. When I told them my travel agent texted me, they said ‘we need the name of your travel agent!’ I highly recommend Greeking.me and will recommend them to any family or friends thinking about a trip to Greece.
