Mr Tim Sinnett is an amazing surgeon - I can not recommend him enough. He has helped me with my Achilles rupture repair and recovery. We took all the right steps towards recovery, and I wish to thank him for making this recovery as easy for me as possible. It could've been a very difficult injury to recover from but he left no scars around the Achilles area post surgery.
Mr Sinnett was not only very pleasant throughout, but he also went out of his way to help and reassure me. He showed me various X-rays and explained that my bones were healing nicely. I feel fortunate to have had consultation with him. Thank you!
I was referred to Mr. Webb after rupturing my ACL, with the goal of returning to skiing and rugby.Mr. Webb and his team were exceptional throughout. He took the time to understand my personal goals and context, clearly explaining the available options and providing a well-reasoned recommendation. I felt fully in control of the decision-making process and completely confident in the plan we agreed.The whole process was smooth and well organised, and the wider team, from pre-op through to discharge, were professional, friendly, and reassuring. As this was my first major surgery, I was naturally unsure of what to expect, but I felt at ease throughout.The surgery itself was completed in the morning, and I was discharged the same day. Since then, I’ve experienced very little pain, and my early recovery has been far easier than I expected.I would highly recommend Mr. Webb to anyone dealing with a similar injury.
Experiencing knee pain and met with Mr Webb, who had helped me previously. Again, very helpful, very informative and explained my position, his conclusions on my knee status and what my potential options were. I presented to Mr Webb with knee pain following a meniscus removal two years previously. He talked me through the various options available, all of which would eventually lead to a knee replacement so I decided to just get it done.The procedure, risks etc were fully explained clearly and in layman terms.On the day Mr Webb came and saw me to reassure me of what was going to happen. The procedure went very well and I am now three weeks on. The first few days were very uncomfortable but after 6 days I could stop taking the prescribed strong pain killers and after 10 days I stopped taking paracetamol. I can only put this down to Mr Webb’s expertise as I know others that have had more severe pain for longer.
Mr Simon Hislop diagnosed that I need a partial knee replacement following a period of knee pain having put off the surgery for as long as possible. From the beginning, Simon gave me great confidence that the procedure would be successful and that post operation the recovery would be increasingly comfortable over six weeks. He was accurate. I was walking comfortably within days and back exercising (following guidance) within a couple of weeks.I had two reviews with Simon within six weeks by which time I was back riding my bike and about to go on holiday. It’s difficult to imagine how the experience could be improved upon and I am deeply grateful to Simon and his team for their amazing work.
I was attended to by Mark Webb for Meniscus surgery. Mark was fantastic, he explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease.
