Review Time
As someone who has never broken a bone or had any form of surgery, Mr Jayadev and his team really put my mind at rest. All questions were answered clearly and I knew exactly where I stood during the whole process. In terms of the operation I had, there is a technical name for it, but in simply terms it was a cartilage transplant. I was constantly in pain when doing basic tasks and with a young family it started to impact being able to play with my kids etc. I am so thankful and although the recovery is still ongoing things are looking a lot brighter. Special thanks also goes to his PA (Megan) who kept her cool and was very calm with my constant nervous emails :-).
Tim Sinnett has now operated on both of my ankles so I am well qualified to commment! He really is second to none. The whole experience from initial consultation, right through to post op assessment has been the most straight forward, professional and easy process on both occasions. My surgery was amazing. Ankle 1 was operated on in Oct '23 and was so successful that I was skiing 8 weeks later. Ankle 2 which was quite a complex situation is now on week 5 and healing beautifully. Tim and his assistant Megan really are the best team in London. So thorough and professional and really lovely people to deal with. Thank you!
Unbelievable though it may seem, I can truly say that my total knee replacement operation with Luke Jones was a wonderful experience! From initial diagnosis to operation to post-op follow-ups, he took the time and had the patience to explain everything in layman's terms so that I had a very clear idea of the whole process from beginning to end. He has a justified reputation of being a top consultant in his field and I fully understand why. 6 weeks after my operation I feel well on my way to total recovery. My stitches have been described as "a work of art" by medical friends and family.
Following an injury to my knee whilst skiing, I was pleased to be seen very quickly by Luke Jones and his initial clinical diagnosis was confirmed by the MRI that was organised for the next day. Really impressed by the efficiency of the practice and the time he took to explain the injury and what to do to help prevent future injuries. Six weeks of following his guidance and recommendation to an excellent physio and I was able to return to skiing again with an almost as good as new knee. Highly recommend.
Mr Jayadev's care is exceptional. His kind treatment of my daughter's ACL was excellent and he was at every stage reassuring,His advice before and after the operation was patient in delivery and was also easy to understand.We could not be happier.
Mark Webb was brilliant from start to finish. I felt like I was being listened to for the first time and not dismissed or sent away with pain killers or an steroid injection. He understood that although I’m never going to play sport at a high level, that playing for health, wellbeing and the social side was important to me and his aim was to get me back to playing. He also understood and agreed when I said I didn't want to spend my life on pain meds.He explained the surgical process to me in great detail, in a way which an ordinary lay person could understand. He made himself available to me when I had questions.He advised me on pain levels post surgery and what to expect in the weeks following the surgery. Which was all spot on.His bedside manner was friendly, professional and understanding.
I had had previously received shoulder surgery at another hospital and this surgery was not successful. However I went to see Dr Butt for a second opinion and I have to say he was highly professional, superb attention to detail and great care/understanding. He has been truly amazing and I would highly recommend his services! 5 stars from me I am truly grateful for all the time and care he has provided for me. I real genuine honest person so thank you!
I had a serious accident in November 2023, where I fell into a train carriage at Clapham Junction station due to the large gap between the platform and the train. I broke the tibia and fibula bones on my right knee and my humerus bone on my right arm. My knee operation was complex and I am so pleased that Mr. Luke Jones performed the surgery. He was extremely attentive and professional at all times. I am not 100% better yet, but getting there. This is also due thanks to Amelia, one of the physiotherapists at Chelsea and Westminster. Furthermore, you can hardly see the scar on my knee!
Not only was Mr. Luke Jones' surgery covering my total knee replacement operation of the highest quality but also his after care and attention was second to none.He simply reinforces the concept of the Hyppocratic Oath. If only more people in the medical profession were to following his example!
