My experience with Luke Jones was outstanding, and I would highly recommend him for a consultation regarding any knee issue. He was super thorough in his physical assessment, and equally thorough in his analysis and explanation of the MRI results. I appreciated his recommended conservative approach.
Luke was professional, reassuring, understanding of my son’s sporting recovery and understanding of our circumstances - we were self funding so he arranged his theatre schedule so my son didn’t need to spend a night in hospital which was great esp as he was only just 18 and so could come home.
My son had knee surgery with Mr Luke Jones at King Edward VII following a sustained rugby injury. Mr Jones was highly recommended by a consultant we know and didn't disappoint. He is Oxford University educated, with an impressive CV, manner, skills and experience. We feel very lucky to have found him.
I saw Mr Jones for a knee problem that had been misunderstood by previous consultants. His ability to cut through the confusion and zero in on a diagnosis was impressive and very welcome, and he was able to rapidly provide a proper direction for further treatment. The administrative support, which is not to be underestimated, was also very good, helpful and responsive.
Dr Oragui and his secretary Nicki were amazing! I could not have received a better service. My operation went smoothly and the care I received post op from the Dr and the staff at the Lister Hospital in Battersea was second to one. Unfortunately, due to where my injury was, I had to return to theatre to have my incision re-stitched but the inconvenience did not entirely phase me because I knew I’d be in great hands. Throughout the process Dr Oragui answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. His friendly nature and warnness was very much appreciated as I had seen other doctors prior to finding him who were cold which made it difficult for me to feel comfortable around. Even when the Dr was away on holiday, he ensured that I was seen even at short notice. There is nothing more that he could have done to improve my experience. With regular rehab sessions, I’m now able to run again and my journey to playing full contact rugby is now over have played the best rugby game of my life a few days ago and winning Forward of the Match. (Just incase my physio sees this I’ll add that the journey’s not entirely over and that I will still be going to the gym to keep my hammy strong). I owe how far I’ve come to Dr Oragui and my great physio Nick Guth. Thank you both
After having successful complex surgery involving the repair of a previous operation and a new hip replacement, I highly recommend Mr. Simon Newman and his team at King Edward VII Hospital.
