My daughter had an ACL reconstruction surgery with Mr Jones. In short, he was highly professional at all times. He was extremely responsive even at late or very early times, always made time to be available to speak; he was extra professional before and after the surgery and was extremely quick to give advice. We would give Mr Luke Jones the highest marks (and higher). A real professional- and extremely approachable and kind at every moment.
The most reassuring aspect of my treatment under Mr White was his reluctance to operate without exploring other avenues first. However, when these proved unfruitful, an operation was the only option. It was huge success. Mr White is calm, patient, kind and thoughtful and explains everything clearly. And I have always felt I was in the best hands. He is supported by a first rate team, particularly his secretary and the anaesthetist. The physiotherapist he recommended has helped enormously and the speed of my recovery has surprised everyone. Would I recommend him? I already have.
I had a trauma to my hip which wasn't getting better with 19 months of conservative treatment. I underwent surgery with Mr Webb for a ligamentum teres debridement, ganglion removal, labral repair and plication of the hip 8 months ago. Prior to the surgery, he was the only doctor who accurately diagnosed that I had torn my ligamentum teres.The surgery combined with Physio has allowed me to now sit and walk mostly pain free. I have returned to spin classes, barre and reformer pilates, which I had not been able to do for over 2 years. Whilst I am not back to my original physically demanding job, running, boxing and badminton yet, I am continuing to see the progress and these are not out of the question. My quality of life and function is better than it was pre-operatively. Mr Webb is professional, will keep you well informed and help you set realistic expectations. I felt confident and well supported throughout my post-op journey. I highly recommend Mr Webb if you are looking for a hip arthroscopy following a trauma.
I cannot thank Mr Newman enough - from first assessment, provided information, communication from clinic, ... to surgery ... there was not a single question open or any worry not to be in the best possible hands. I was 100% at ease. He is one of the best hip surgeons in the country, but he does not brag, he simply knows what he is doing. That you can feel from the start. The surgery I had is a complicated one, Mr Newman came to see me after surgery in the evening when he was finished with all surgeries. His bedside manners are nothing but perfect, as everything else. I don't know what else to add : Thank you for everything, Mr Newman !
David Butt's guidance, surgery and aftercare enabled my daughter to continue working towards her dissertations and final degree exams (and graduate) despite a significant break to her upper right arm. All of my meetings with Luke Jones from the initial consultation to the post op review have been exactly what the doctor ordered. Professional, with clearly explained options and at every stage I knew exactly what to expect. All the individuals who support him are helpful, courteous and very aware of his standards. Although I felt a little unlucky to need a partial knee replacement when I did, the complete upside was that I was incredibly lucky to have Luke as my consultant.
