This company is a complete scam. Do NOT book through them.
My experience: I tried to book a round-trip airline ticket through the Wego application. I found this company, Holiday Breakz, offering a lower price of $1,100, which seemed like a good deal. I booked the ticket and completed the payment.
Immediately after I paid, someone from their customer service named George called me and told me that the ticket was only on a waiting list. He said that if I wanted a confirmed ticket, I had to pay an extra $500. That is clearly a scam tactic.
I had no choice, so I agreed to change the flight. Then they issued the ticket with my name written incorrectly. George promised it would be corrected within 12 hours, but that was not true. I believe he just wanted me to pass the first 24 hours so I couldn’t request a refund easily.
For 14 days, I called them every single day. Each time they gave me different excuses. Finally, they tried to force me to travel on a 26-hour trip with three stops in three different countries on three different airlines — and the ticket still had the wrong name.
When I spoke to the manager, he was extremely aggressive and unprofessional.
All of them are scammers. Zero service. Only lies and more lies. Until now, I still have not received my refund
I was charged more on my credit card than what was displayed on the website at the time of payment. Subsequently, I received a call stating there were no more seats available, and I would need to pay an additional $600. Otherwise, I would lose the non-refundable initial payment of $1300. This situation feels deceptive!
Complete Scam – Avoid at All Costs I went through the reservation process and was later contacted by phone. I was informed that my booking was “not confirmed due to the airline” and that I needed to pay a price difference to secure the tickets. The new fare was significantly higher than the original price. I was also pressured with threats of losing my booking if I didn’t pay. They then offered a so-called “discount” as if that resolved anything. The extra amount they demanded was nearly $1,000. To check if this was a scam, I purposely provided false personal and credit card information. The transaction attempt still proceeded through their system, confirming their lack of legitimacy. All calls came from representatives with Indian accents, employing high-pressure tactics and a false sense of urgency. This is a bait-and-switch scheme. Steer clear of this service entirely.
I was thrilled to book an affordable flight for myself and my son, but then I received an email the next day stating that my reservation was on "hold" and that I needed to contact customer service. After calling, I was informed that I would need to change my travel dates or pay $790 for my flight! This feels like a scam. I strongly advise against using this service.
It feels like a scam. I purchased a ticket for a departure at 05:35 and an arrival at 16:00, but faced issues with delivery. I spent 3 hours on the customer service line. When I finally received the tickets, the new time was 10:55 with a midnight arrival, costing me over $600! I'm traveling with two children under 4 years old, and my return tickets are a logistical nightmare (4 flights)—you can imagine. I paid a $90 cancellation fee, yet I can't cancel the ticket. The customer service team acted professionally.
We purchased tickets at a reasonable price, but when we called the next day, we were told that those tickets were now five times more expensive. Under pressure, they changed our tickets to a different date. They also refused to refund our money. My rating is 1. NOT RECOMMENDED.
