I share this not to deter travel, but to prepare others for potential issues. I previously had a wonderful experience with a travel service in 2023 and recommended it to eight people. However, my recent trip in 2025 was utterly disappointing from beginning to end.
If you decide to book with them, be mindful of the following problems I faced:
Visa Delays: Even after booking three months ahead and requesting early visas for Rawdah appointments, my visa arrived just two days before my departure.
Unexpected Changes: My hotel in Madinah was changed at the last minute without any explanation.
Safety Issues: The transportation was inconsistent. Despite paying for an English-speaking guide, none was provided, and the drivers were reckless, often using their phones while driving.
Unhonored Upgrades: I paid for a Kaaba View room in Makkah, but at check-in, I was informed it wasn't available. I expected a premium experience but received a standard one instead.
Unresponsive Management: When problems arose, communication vanished. I spoke with a manager who assured me he would resolve the issues, yet four weeks after my trip, I am still waiting for a follow-up.
The Bottom Line: They are quick to answer calls when booking, but after payment, they become unreachable, citing meetings or projects.
They attempted to offer me a travel voucher as a solution. However, I paid in cash for a specific experience that was not delivered. As a repeat customer, I anticipated professional treatment but felt unfairly treated following what should have been a sacred journey.
Advice for others: If you choose this service, document everything and don't rely on the promised upgrades at arrival.
The most disheartening aspect of this experience is the lack of integrity. This is a religious service focused on facilitating Umrah, and you would expect a higher level of honesty and fairness. It's unfortunate to be treated this way, especially after completing a sacred pilgrimage.

We made several adjustments to our package during the process, and they always managed everything calmly and professionally, always available when we needed assistance. We explored various options before finalizing our arrangements, and this company truly distinguished itself with its transparency, reasonable pricing, and quality of service. The representative ensured we received the best and most cost-effective package while still prioritizing comfort and convenience, which brought us great peace of mind. Alhamdulillah, we are very pleased and satisfied with the services provided. A heartfelt thank you to the representative for their dedication, humble attitude, and sincere efforts in making our Umrah journey easy and stress-free. May Allah reward them and the entire team for their excellent service. We highly recommend them to anyone planning their Umrah.
This travel agency is highly unreliable and deceptive. They make grand promises but ultimately lead to disappointment. My family's pilgrimage packages were mishandled; we paid for premium services but received subpar accommodations upon arrival. Exercise caution with this agency. The owner has been involved in dishonest practices, and I have documented evidence of the misleading communication. Many positive reviews online appear to be fabricated, likely incentivized by the owner. It's wise to steer clear of both this agency and its associated business.
I paid them full for umrah visa for my wife who’s happened to be Pakistani passport holder with US green card. They promised visa within 10 business days, 3 weeks went by my departure date was 2 days away n they told me they couldn’t get her visa. Still haven’t got my refund. Typical Pakistani 2 number people doing things as they been doing. I would recommend everyone plan n apply yourself much cheaper n don’t have to depend on these agencies.
The trip to Mecca/Medina for Umrah with two of my friends went smoothly . Brother Fahad Zaeem of Hajar Travels did a wonderful job, from getting our visas, flight tickets and ground transportations were all seamless and the price was amazing. We were able to contact him when needed. I will recommend him and Hajar Travels to my friends and family for Hajj and Umrah. Our trip was 10/15/15- 10/24/25.
Brother Fahad Zaeem went all out to deliver a wonderful stress free journey to Mecca and Medina for Umra for two of my friends and I. the ground transportation to all activities and between all airports was truly efficient and on time, he put us in a 5star hotel and most importantly the price was excellent aside pricing , he took his time to answer all questions and rectify what needed to be adjusted, this is my 2nd time traveling with Hajar group, I’ve actually recommended him to quite a few more of my friends! NB: the whole trip was 7 nites! Kudos to the transportation team and especially Bro Fahad Jazakalah Kair Bro Fahad @ Hajar travel!

Please be aware of this company. This company has zero customer service. They use AutoCorrect and grammar check to write professional messages. They are very rude and pushy; they want you to purchase the package without even getting into details. They wanted me to transfer money straight into the account. That was the red flag for me. They made you seem like you're not worth anything. They go by what work you do and what vehicle you drive so they could give you a high price according to that. In general, this company is a scam. I am lucky to not have to deal with them, but I've read previous reviews, and I'm sure I would have had a hard time trying to deal with this if I had issues with my package. Going to the holy land? Do you want a piece of mind with everything covered, but this company gives you a hard time? Very unprofessional, so save some time and go to someone that deserves your business? Funny how there was no issue when I first mention I’m from the U.S and the company is based in Chicago which was mention by Farhad and now out of sudden they are based UK. I received a call directly from a U.S. maybe they are using third party app to generate us number. I have screen shot of the conversation via what’s app as proof and this company Hajar Travel are no one liars

I had booked a ticket from them to go to NY to Panama and then from Panama to Brazil. They offered me a lower price than my prior travel agent and I went with them. Turns out their sales person Taqi never booked me to Panama (no wonder he was cheaper). Then they gave me the run around for ever assuring me that they would change my ticket and pay the difference. They never did. They also present themselves as a US company when the reality is that they are a Pakistani company. They just have an incorporation in Arizona. Stay AWAY. I had to almost file an FIR in Pakistan for them to refund me the money that I had to pay for checked bags (they never set up my bags even though they kept on assuring me they did) They ruined our family trip to Panama and Brazli. We were going for a wedding and it caused chaos and it cost me SO MUCH more money. I honestly cannot say anything nice about them.
