An extremely negative experience with Accredify, characterised by a lack of transparency and contradictory information.
I applied for a Diploma through RPL in September, paying AUD 4,000 upfront and clearly stating from the beginning that I had no prior qualifications in the field. After submitting all the required evidence, including the mandatory entry requirement units, I received only silence and evasive responses for weeks.
Later, I was told that the qualification had been “updated by the government” and that I needed to complete additional units with an extra fee of AUD 2,500. After contacting the RTO directly, I discovered that these were the same entry units I had already submitted. I was also told that an assessor had reviewed my evidence and found it insufficient, which was later denied by the RTO itself.
My account manager April disappeared, many emails went unanswered, and the director Penny used unprofessional and intimidating language. No assessment was ever initiated despite full payment.
I requested a refund multiple times, but it was refused.
All communication stopped before Christmas.

Unresponsive and unprofessional service

I initiated my RTO journey before the holiday season, and everything went smoothly until the break. Afterward, I tried to get in touch with the support team, but received no replies, either by phone or email. This level of unprofessionalism is disappointing.

I signed up for Certificate III in refrigeration. The enrollment process was handled seamlessly, and the support team was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this service.

Incredible support

I obtained a certificate through this service. I was quite stressed about it since I urgently needed the certificate. They supported me whenever I needed assistance. Their responses were quick, and I received the certificate in a timely manner. I truly appreciate all they did for me. Thank you so much.

Frustrating experience with fraudulent college

I had a very negative experience with this service. I paid for them to manage my RPL process, trusting they collaborated with legitimate colleges. Later, I found out that the college they used was fraudulent and had been shut down, resulting in the cancellation of my certificate. The service refused to take responsibility and merely told me to contact the regulatory body, offering no real help or solution. This is completely unacceptable for a paid service. They organized my RPL and certificate through this college, and now I am left with nothing. I have contacted the Ombudsman and will pursue legal action to recover my payment and hold them accountable. I strongly advise against using this service as they work with unverified providers and do not support their clients when issues arise.

Terrible experience.

I regrettably had to report this service. They attempted to issue me a Certificate III (which I already possess) from an RTO I never agreed to enroll in. Subsequently, they tried to issue me a diploma from another RTO I also never consented to. I have the messages as proof. Furthermore, I faced bullying from the manager. My refund requests have been repeatedly denied, despite the fact that they issued me a diploma from an RTO that has been permanently shut down.

Concerns about compliance of assessors

I completed a Certificate IV in Leadership & Management through RPL, and it was only upon receiving my qualification documents that I learned which RTO assessed me. That RTO has since been deregistered, and my qualification has been cancelled. I initially paid in good faith, believing they would use a compliant assessor, but that was not the case. The advice was to approach Fair Trading for a refund or alternative assessment, but they directed me back to the service. My initial communication went unanswered, and in a follow-up call, I was told to contact the deregistered RTO. This outcome is highly unsatisfactory and shows a lack of care for students. If you are considering enrolling through RPL, be cautious of how this service operates.
