I have been using Bonsai for more than a year now, and it has been a great tool for my freelance business here in India. It provides me with multi-currency invoices, contracts, time tracking, and others. Their customer support is especially helpful and has helped me multiple times.
The invoice feature is easy to use and has automation to directly send invoices to the clients. I have also created multiple contracts, and they're a nifty feature because I don't have to use another software to write and get them signed.
Overall, I really like using Bonsai and hopefully, they will maintain how great the product is. It is totally worth the money.
Disappointing invoicing tool. Extremely inflexible with many essential features missing that you'd expect from a basic invoicing tool. For instance, bulk downloading invoices is not an option. It takes 3-4 clicks per invoice to download. I regrettably used it for too long before deciding to switch. Truly disappointing.
Recovering passwords should be a simple task, but this service made it difficult when I forgot mine. The features on the login page didn't work as expected. I entered an incorrect email, and it claimed, “We've sent you an email to reset your password.” I nearly lost an important deal because of this. I shouldn't have to reach out to the support team for assistance; it should function seamlessly.
