Deceiving. The “extra” downloads wouldn’t download to my phone. And the book is nothing special. When I tried to return it I couldn’t. Would not recommend purchasing especially when I can read it for free on kindle unlimited.
I received the book and digital gifts quickly, the book is well thought through, and I get personalized emails from Lily frequently. I prefer to know there is an actual person to whom I can communicate with in regard to information detailed in the books. She knows the power of plants, and it shows in her compassion to heal. I love the books; they are a great addition to my library.
I love this book! LOVE. I know a lot about herbs and healing and this book is the missing piece - what happens when herbs are combined. Thank you. The book is thorough, easy to cross reference and understand. I wish there was an index. It would be very helpful even with the arrangement of the book for easy access.
This book is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in herbal medicine. With a collection of 50-100 books on herbs and food, this one ranks among my top 10. It includes references to numerous published medical studies in the back. However, some information is lacking, which is crucial for safe herbal use. I've only researched mullein for someone else so far. While it suggests combining it with marshmallow root, it fails to mention that marshmallow root acts as a blood thinner and should be avoided by those expecting surgery within the next six weeks. The section on marshmallow root omits this detail as well. I haven't explored the Asian ginseng section yet, but I could easily write an entire book on ginseng; it certainly can't be covered in just a page or two. Overall, there's valuable information here, and I find it quite useful. It may be more suited for those with some experience, or at least for those who double-check their sources. I anticipate using it frequently. One drawback is the index, which is frustrating. It really should be organized alphabetically, at least for each ailment or herb, but it’s not; it appears random.
I got the Herbal Synergies book within just a few days. It's extremely well organized, easy to read, and offers a wealth of information about various herbs, their interactions, recipes, and more. I'm very pleased to have this book!
