HGV Driver training set me up with all the theory and CPC revision which was just mind blowing for me. I passed Theory and CPC with no issues because all the information was there on a website they provided for me. If I need any information, they were always an email away with quick responses. I was allocated Hughes driver training in Northampton for a condensed driving course and passed Class 1 training first time. I will return back to this company when I’m due a refresher or for an upskill.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!The training was poor. The instructor spent more time on his phone than training me and i explained i was not happy and did not feel ready for my test. They put me through to my test despite my concerns and lack of adequate training. i failed the test as expected. When i tried to complain again, explaining that i wasn't ready and that i was unhappy with the training they showed me a document stating i had signed to say I was happy with the training. They had falsified my signature because I had never signed!!I showed them my driving llicense which clearly showed that the signature they had on the paperwork was not mine and they have now ignored me.I recommend everyone avoids this company.EDIT- the team at HGV Driver Training Centre continue to stand behind their fraudulent records and so I have now raised this with JAUPT as well as starting the process with Trading Standards.I cannot warn consumers enough, if you live anywhere near their Exeter training centre please find someone else to do your training with. The centre is unsupportive and HGV Driver Training Centre are only interested in money and not supporting candidates.Their comment below stating I am in talks is false since my sensible and obvious evidence is being ignored by them,from Oliver Stockwell
I cannot recommend this company too highly. Totally professional and knowledgeable about a process that can seem overwhelming at times. The staff are there for you every step of the way. Phone calls are answered promptly; queries are sorted; earliest test dates searched for; encouragement and understanding when there are setbacks; And finally a successful outcome.
very easy going, excellent knowledge from all the instructors i had the pleasure to interact with, and they new the score as far has having to do the course as there all drivers themselves, all the admin staff i needed to speak with were all right on the ball, the instructions come through the night before so you can join the course with ease on zoom, i would 100% endorse this company and the icing is they were extremely competitive on price.
I would highly recommend this company, they done their best to work around what dates best suit me to book exams. The material they provided for revising was really simple and broke down the information well.A big thanks to Tom and Carolyn for helping me through the whole process.
