Hi,
Just a quick thing to add about my CAS delay experience. There was no consideration whatsoever that they have now put a student out of education for 1 year (due to the academic term) and with no concrete responses. I mean to them it's just another person who didn't get on barded into the University, but to you, you just lost out on a year of education if this was your only option or said no to other options.
I strongly advise anyone interested in getting a genuine education, and wants to feel heard, DO NOT apply to this University, you will regret it. It is not what you think it is, the communication is bad, consideration is bad, and you will not get responded to. Do not even bother with this headache, and secure urself with the many other options you've got in the UK.
The CAS team of this University is extremely bad. The lack of communication and lack of explanation is awful. It took 33 days to get a response regarding my CAS and at the end the response was "sorry we are out of time, to issue you a CAS". I changed the whole University and applied elsewhere.
I advise everyone to change and not get trapped in this University, with terrible customer service, response times and reasoning for refusal that are neither academic or legal. Do not pay your 4000 or 8000, you might risk not being refunded due to their lack of communication.
My experience with the University of Law was extremely disappointing due to serious administrative mishandling and lack of transparency. My CAS was initially refused without any clear reason. Despite multiple follow-ups, I did not receive a proper explanation for almost a month. When a reason was eventually provided, I submitted clear documentary evidence to show that the allegation was incorrect, yet my explanation was repeatedly dismissed and the University remained fixed on its position. After further delays and extensive correspondence, the University later confirmed in writing that the information it had relied upon was incorrect. Unfortunately, by that time the CAS deadline had passed.I was then deferred to the April intake; however, a CAS was again not issued, which ultimately left me with no option but to request a refund. As a result, I suffered significant financial loss, considerable waste of time, and a great deal of stress — all due to circumstances entirely beyond my control.I had paid £8,000 in fees and maintained the required bank funds for several months. The prolonged delays, poor communication, and late correction of errors caused unnecessary hardship. I would strongly advise prospective international students to exercise caution and ensure there is clear accountability and timely communication before committing financially.
My experience with University of Law has been extremely disappointing and poorly managed from start to finish.I paid £260 to accept what was presented as an offer, which later turned out not to be an offer at all but a conditional one. This was not made clear at the point of payment. There was no transparency, no proper guidance, and no accountability when this was queried.Following this, the admissions team began raising issues about my degree from the University of Amsterdam, despite it being a well-established and internationally recognised institution. The handling of this was inconsistent and unnecessarily obstructive.I was then required to complete an English language assessment, even though I have lived and worked in the UK for 15 years. The test itself was poorly administered and did not register correctly on their system. As a result, they now claim they cannot provide a result and are referring me to an external IELTS test centre instead.Throughout this entire process: • There has been no meaningful support • No ownership of errors • No apology • And no attempt to resolve issues caused by their own systemsThe administration feels disorganised and process-driven rather than student-focused. At no point did it feel like the system was designed to help applicants navigate admissions fairly or efficiently.Given the lack of clarity, repeated administrative failures, and the fact that the process has effectively stalled due to errors on their side, I am requesting a refund of the £260 fee.I would strongly caution prospective applicants to be prepared for unclear communication, shifting requirements, and a lack of accountability if anything goes wrong.
I started my process with this but they wasted my time.i provided each and everything they said ur cos shield is 100% we will issue cas, took a lot of time and differ me.i asked them for refund again they wasted a lot of time.they don’t give us free education they charge us a lot of money.they should stop wasting our times and their sorries can’t compensate our loss of time and hope.
I signed up for the exam prep course at the University of Law, and they failed to add the correct links to my account. As no one bothered to fix it in time, I missed the first session of the programme because no one was able to grant me access. Still awaiting access and it is Day 2. I contacted them just now, and hours later I still have no access. No urgency, no ownership, no meaningful response. For an institution charging premium fees for professional exam preparation, this level of incompetence is unacceptable. You are paying for support and organisation, and ULAW delivers neither. Do not waste your money. If something goes wrong, they genuinely do not care. Go to Barbri instead.

This is the worst university ever. There is no support and the tutors hate their job. no one bothers to reply to emails and if they do it is weeks later. every time i call them for help it is always foreign individuals who do not speak english well and in order to actually speak to the BPC team you have to beg them. also the call centre people know NOTHING and cannot provide any support. please do not go to this university. they even charge u more money although you get told that you don't owe anything. oh i could go on and on. don't bother reply to this review because telling me you're sorry will not fix all my wasted money.

Honest Review of the University of Law (UK) – Especially for Pakistani ApplicantsI had applied to the University of Law for a top-up course with a High Pass qualification and an IELTS score of 8.5 in speaking and 6.5 overall. My academic and language profile fully met their requirements, and I initially received an offer.I later appeared for a pre-CAS interview from Pakistan with Mr. Farhan (Country Representative) and the Pakistani admissions team. During the process, Mr. Salman, one of their team members, assured me that I was good to go and could proceed to record my interview on CAS Shield. I completed the interview, submitted all required documents, and my CAS progress reached 34%.However, things took an unprofessional turn. My CAS progress was suddenly stopped not because of any academic or procedural issue, but apparently due to personal bias and internal politics. I had an unrelated personal disagreement with an assistant admissions manager from a consultancy, who happened to have close ties with Mr. Farhan Asim. It became clear that these internal relationships mattered more to them than a student’s merit or future. This experience exposed a deeply unprofessional and biased attitude within the University of Law’s Pakistan admissions network. Instead of maintaining transparency and fairness, they appear to give preference to personal connections and internal favoritism over genuine, deserving students.I strongly advise Pakistani students to think twice before applying to the University of Law. Their local admissions handling is unreliable, unprofessional, and lacks accountability. They do not value students’ time, effort, or aspirations, and their process can be easily influenced by personal relationships rather than merit or integrity.
