Engineer came to look at my freesat dish. The website clearly states that a repair is £69.95 including VAT, and including the engineers diagnostic. When he arrived I was told the dish would need replacing and was charged £180, but actually it was just the arm of the dish that was changed - something I could have got for £12 on Amazon and done with a step ladder. It literally took the guy 5 mins but I was forced to pay up front before the work started and without being told what he would do or how easy it was. Today BBC news had a report about a company called 24/7 Locksmiths UK doing something called a “bait-and-switch scam” (I.e. quoted a small amount online and then over charged for a simple job) and that made me realise that this is exactly what the company did to me. Please avoid, they will not charge you what the website says and they will take your money before you realise you’ve been scammed
The installer was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured there was no mess left behind. He truly reflects well on the company. Although the booking was rescheduled three times, it was understandable due to the severe storm in the area in January 2026. I would gladly recommend this company.
After being without service since January 4th, I reached out to the support team around 9:30 yesterday morning. An engineer arrived at around 1:40, and he was outstanding—he resolved all our issues and improved the system even beyond its previous state. No more needing to watch TV on the computer! Thank you very much!
I called the next day in the late afternoon. The representative was very nice as I tried to get my dog into the bedroom to avoid any disturbances. He reassured me that it was fine, and I appreciated his help. He did an excellent job, and I'm very satisfied.
I give full marks to the engineer for being knowledgeable and friendly, effectively resolving our issues. However, the booking system deserves a lower rating due to its robotic feel and repetitive questions, which can be frustrating.

Gary arrived the following day to install a new aerial signal distribution box and completed the task very neatly. There was a minor issue unrelated to the installation, which the company addressed right away. We strongly recommend the company for their efficient service and the high caliber of their staff.

The technician was excellent and was determined to resolve my mother's analogue TV issues. The company offered same-day service and informed me of a call one hour prior. They kept me updated when they couldn't make it that day and came the next working day. I have no complaints.
