The 7-day trek in the "Mountains of the Moon" was the ultimate challenge. Ronald’s organization was flawless; he ensured we had the best team of porters and mountain guides to navigate the diverse vegetation zones, from lush bamboo forests to the glacial alpine scenery near Margherita Peak. Even in the toughest, muddiest sections, the team’s encouragement and expertise made us feel safe and motivated every step of the way.
6 Days in Bwindi & Rwanda
The transition from the rugged mountains to the misty forests of Bwindi was handled perfectly. Ronald is an expert driver and a fountain of knowledge. During our time in Bwindi, he guided us through the gorilla trekking process with ease, making sure we were well-prepared for the "gentle giants".
Our time in Rwanda was equally impressive. Ronald navigated the border crossings efficiently and shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of the "Land of a Thousand Hills". Whether we were visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial or exploring local markets, his local connections and friendly demeanor made us feel more like friends than just tourists.

I highly recommend working with Ronald to plan your travels. I spent a few days around Fort Portal with him - he has lots of experience and great suggestions for what there is to do/see/experience. I saw the crater lakes and cool hot springs in Semliki National Park, and he was also able to help organize a land transfer on the highway through Queen Elizabeth National Park (which was like a bonus safari!) to Buhoma/Bwindi. Ronald was incredibly kind, professional, punctual, and friendly, I was really impressed overall by the service and facilities in Uganda, and hope to go back because there's so much more to see!
