The minor repairs were completed satisfactorily. However, a major issue with my furnace was not resolved, as they referred to details in the contract without providing proof. I chose to terminate my contract to prevent further complications.
Electrican caused more damage. He had a bad attitude at first. Did not have secure shoes on for the house. He had an odor. I did not feel I could trust him in my home and he made me uncomfortable in my own home. Smart Grid Electric. He provided small to no services. Could not repair chain light switches or smoke detectors.
My service request was handled in an appropriate manner and by a competent contractor. My only criticism is the full information was no given to the assigned contractor so he was not aware of the several issues. The job was not completed.. He stated AFTER HomeServe approved THAT final repair, he would order the parts & reschedule a return trip. Apparently, further some reason, that didn't happen and service call was marked and considered complete.. very happy with what was done tho.
The customer service representative was friendly and helped arrange my service visit. However, I found it tedious to reach a representative since the automated scheduling system failed to schedule my service correctly.
