I’ve been keeping my eye on this brand of cat food since I saw an ad for it and I was really happy when I saw the products being released. I’ve only bought the dry food since that’s what was available at the time and both of my cats enjoy it which I’m glad since one of them is very picky with her food. Previously they were on non-halal cat food since it was the easiest to acquire at the time due to availability and proximity but I’m very glad to have made the switch. I also find it very cute that the kibble is heart-shaped.
I haven’t see any wet food available on the website but inshallah there’ll be some soon. And I hope that this brand will manage to start selling within superstores, making it easier for other Muslim cat owners to feed their cats the food that they deserve.
We have been looking for a long time for Halal cat food for our 3 fussy Siamese cats and have now found Hurayra. Our cats immediately liked the tuna and chicken switching from “Simply delicious”cat food so more expensive than Hurayra. When the Royal Mail made a mistake with one of our deliveries Hurayra’s customer service immediately answered my emails gave me links so Royal Mail could quickly rectify there mistake and redelivered next day. We and our cats are now subscribed customers and supports of this Halal family run business
It's wonderful to see halal certified cat food in the market. This assurance means we can trust that ingredients like pork won't be included, which we've learned can sometimes be present in products from larger brands, even if they claim to be Chicken flavor. During the transition from our cat's previous food to this new option, he did experience some vomiting, but I believe that once he's fully accustomed to it, everything will settle down. Looking forward to the availability of larger packets in the upcoming year!
It's fantastic to see halal certified cat food available now. It assures us that there's no pork in it, which we discovered can be present in some well-known brands, even if they claim it's Chicken flavor. During the transition from our cat's old food to this new option, he did vomit a bit more than usual, but I'm confident that once he fully adapts, everything will be fine. I'm excited for larger packets to be available next year!
I can't express how much I adore these products! One of my cats is quite picky about trying new brands, but he devoured his bowl completely! We tried both Tuna and Chicken flavors, and both of my cats enjoyed them, even though they usually prefer wet foods. I highly recommend this product.

I'm thrilled that there's finally a halal cat food available that I can order online, and if I need extra, I can easily grab a bag locally. I'm looking forward to purchasing the wet food when it launches, as I believe all six of my cats will enjoy it!
I wanted to purchase this food because it's labeled halal, but the lack of transparency from the company is concerning. They couldn't provide a complete ingredient list for the chicken wet food, which raises a red flag. Just because something is labeled 'halal' doesn't mean it's healthy for your cat. The tuna food was full of starches and lacked real meat. Cats require a meat-based diet—too many carbs can lead to health issues. It feels like 'halal' is being used as a marketing tactic without regard for what cats truly need. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to risk your cat's health.
