Very poor customer service!!

Very poor customer service!!! Response by email very slow and very un professional, which is a shame as their prices were good. Order cancelled due to no updates and what generally felt like no interest in trying to sort the problem. Elsewhere it is, even if it costs a little more. Customer service needs serious improvement!!

My experience of Island 4 x 4 Kent is 5*. I have also used their returns procedure & consider that to be 5* also. Their couriers are excellent. You are kept informed at all stages. Highly recommended. Part prices are very favourable too, as is their delivery charges. Highly recommended (3) purchases over last month.

If you have a problem don't expect a response!!

If you don't have any issues with the items delivered all good. However, if you do, no response to emails. Had an item delivered that was damaged due to insufficient packing within the inner box. Tried emailing multiple times, no response on phone either. Paypal dispute is the next option...

Good company to deal with

Have had 13 orders from Island , am in Australia so parts are sent via overseas courier. Parts usually arrive within 10 days of ordering - pretty good service. Never had an incorrect order , damaged goods or failure to deliver. Island have in the past ordered in parts for me which have not been on their database (and upgraded their database to include the part). I wonder how many of these reviews are from trolls or opposition .

great Value for money

great Value for money. would struggle to find cheaper. always arrive quickly. the only minor complaint is i only live 5 minutes away and there is no way to collect an item if needed in a rush.

Terrible company

Terrible company! Advised I could return incorrect items, returned - got signed proof of delivery of the return and the company have since ignored me for months. Currently opening a dispute with credit card company. AVOID at all costs!

Had a few parts from these people with

Had a few parts from these people with no issues. This time I ordered 2 seat bases Defender and a PAS pump ZF. Parts came took a week. Opened the boxes and the PAS box was inside the other larger box but this box was split open large enough for the pump to be removed. Fitted it and it didn’t work as well as the old one. After a few e mails with no replies They finally arranged to pick the pump and and offered me refund or replacement I took the replacement option. 8 days later no pump and no reply to 3 e mails. Customer car is still sitting here
