A week and a half ago, my children and I organized a significant number of catalogues for a job that paid $50 for collating 2,528 catalogues across 316 houses. The pay was not disclosed until after signing up, and had I known the compensation, I would have declined. We take pride in doing the job correctly—collating from largest to smallest, securing them properly, and ensuring they are delivered to mailboxes, not left on lawns or doorsteps, which can create a mess. Unfortunately, we can no longer work for the company due to their rigid delivery schedules, which expect us to deliver in poor weather conditions, risking damage to the catalogues and ourselves. When we were not allowed to deliver the following week, my children lost the money they earned. Attempts to establish a flexible delivery system were dismissed. Additionally, our delivery driver left our catalogues in the rain twice, leading to ruined quality and incurring costs for waste removal. The treatment of delivery personnel is unacceptable, and I would only recommend this work if you have ample support and a vehicle.
A week and a half ago, my children and I organized a large volume of catalogues for a payment of $50 for 316 houses, each receiving 8 catalogues. This meant collating a total of 2528 catalogues to be bundled and delivered. Note that after signing up, there's no clarity on future payments, and you're obligated to complete the tasks. If I had known the pay was this low, I would have declined. We always organize correctly, ensuring the largest catalogue holds the rest, double-banded for delivery. We make sure to deliver to letterboxes, not leaving items on lawns or doorsteps, as we care about the environment. Unfortunately, we can no longer work for this company due to their rigid delivery schedules, expecting us to deliver in the rain, which damages the catalogues and puts us at risk. When we weren't allowed to deliver the following week, my children lost their hard-earned pocket money, which felt very unfair. Even a simple trust system for completion at a later date was rejected. I must also mention that the delivery driver left our catalogues in the rain twice, and despite my efforts to communicate, the second time they were left exposed again. This situation has led to additional costs for waste removal. Working here feels like being underpaid for hard labor. Only consider this if you have ample help and a vehicle.
I wish I had looked at reviews before signing up. As I’m on maternity leave, I thought this would be a good way to keep busy while my son sleeps in the pram. I received thousands of pamphlets before I even saw the contract, which was bizarre. The pay was only $25 for sorting, collating, and delivering all of them! Ridiculous! When I asked if someone could pick them up, I was told to just throw them in the recycling bin! Such a waste! Meanwhile, they profit from distributing these materials while asking me to dispose of them.
They present this as a casual job suitable for leisurely walks, which is why I thought it would be a fun way for my son to earn some pocket money. However, that couldn't be further from the truth! I received 80kg of pamphlets from numerous companies and spent around 4 hours sorting them into bundles without any pay for that time. The reality is far from the casual, laid-back experience they advertise. To transport the sorted pamphlets, I had to fill my entire vehicle and drive to a central location. Otherwise, I would have needed multiple trips home, doubling my time. Carrying 80kg of materials is not something you can just stroll with. I had to enlist my wife's help to manage the deliveries. Despite working non-stop on a bicycle for 4 hours, assisted by her, I only earned $60. That's essentially $8 an hour! There are easier ways to make money. They also pressure you to accept contracts quickly, often sending large bundles before you can even review them. I refused additional work, but they still pushed me to take it. Their business practices seem questionable and are not worth your time.
This has been a very disappointing experience. I signed up hoping to earn some extra cash, believing I would receive $63 for 400 deliveries. However, I ended up with around 2000 magazines, not just flyers. They delivered on a Friday and expected me to complete it by Tuesday. They tried to track my movements throughout the process, but their tracking system was inadequate. They don’t properly log deliveries. I would not recommend working here.
I have nothing but praise for the service. I reported a neighbor for not distributing catalogues and instead placing them in my recycling bin. The district manager came within two days to collect the catalogues, even emptying my bin! I truly appreciated their prompt response.
I want to share my experience. I accepted a contract, and three days later they claimed to have delivered the papers, but they hadn't arrived. When they finally did, it took me three hours to sort them, and afterward, I was paid only $15 for 380 deliveries. This feels like a scam; it's the worst company I've dealt with.
