Review Time
The individual who called himself the manager at the studio was very rude and arrogant. I had a scheduled appointment and even had the confirmation email. I arrived 30 minutes early, but there was no one at the desk or anywhere to be found. Eventually, he and the photographer arrived and walked past me without acknowledging me. The photographer did come back to greet me, but he abruptly interrupted her. When I mentioned my appointment time, he claimed I didn’t have one unless I was someone named Perez or her dog. I showed him my email confirmation, but he treated me like I was foolish. When I asked for his name, he refused and said he didn’t like my attitude. I was polite, but understandably frustrated. I asked to speak to the store manager, but he walked away. I found the assistant store manager myself to file a complaint. Clearly, he had more important matters than a scheduled appointment. I hope to receive a confirmation call regarding my complaint. However, the assistant store manager and the photographer were very nice.
I had an incredibly bad experience with this service. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was unprofessional and unwelcoming. The staff member taking orders had a strong smell of smoke, making the interaction uncomfortable. Additionally, they aggressively tried to upsell services that I didn’t want or need. The quality of the products was equally disappointing. The photos and printed materials I received were poorly produced—blurry, smudged, and far below acceptable standards. For the price they charge, the results were unacceptable. Overall, the experience was terrible from beginning to end. I cannot recommend this service and would advise others to seek better options.
I scheduled a 12pm appointment two months in advance. When we arrived, they had just finished the 11:30am appointment, but apparently, there was another appointment ahead of us. This made for 15-minute sessions, which is unreasonable since it takes much longer than that. By 12:30, we were still waiting for another person to go before us. If they can’t stick to a schedule, then why bother having one? It was a waste of our time. I recommend avoiding this place unless you want to wait for hours past your appointment time.
The photographer was polite and did a good job. However, she wrote down my email address incorrectly, even after I spelled it out for her to ensure accuracy. I had already provided my email when signing up, so I’m not sure why she asked again. The manager at this location needs training. When I called to inquire about the digital copy, which was a week overdue, he became aggressive. They had recorded the wrong email address, and when I pointed that out, he yelled at me and hung up! It was absurd; he clearly is stressed and not suited for the job. I don’t understand how working at a studio can be that stressful, but if it is, he should take a break.
Raven at the local studio is fantastic; she pays attention to the little details. She works exceptionally well with our young children, and we have been visiting her for over four years, every 3 to 6 months as they grow. They love her so much that they call her by name.
I previously reviewed before receiving my photos, but now I need to make some important notes. The staff in charge and those taking the photos were very nice. Upon receiving the photos, they were decent, but I noticed discrepancies with the order. I didn’t mention it initially because I was told I could get more printed elsewhere. When I tried to order more online, many of them had a ‘low resolution’ message pop up, regardless of the size I chose. If the pictures are important to you, consider having them printed elsewhere. Mine were significant since they were my granddaughter’s graduation photos. I won’t be recommending this service to anyone.
Avoid this place at all costs! We had a 12:15 appointment for a family photo shoot. We arrived on time but ended up waiting nearly two hours. When we finally got into the studio, the camera battery was dead, and we had to wait for another studio to become available. The entire experience was dreadful.
This is the second time I visited this location in the last three months. I had to wait three hours the first time and two hours this time. It’s ridiculous for what should be a simple baby photo session. They kept taking people who arrived after me without any communication. This will be my last visit.
