Arriving was great. Immediately checked in the vehicle and shuttled us to the airport. Upon arrival back at the airport, I called as soon as I retrieved my bags. Directions on where to catch the shuttle back were vague. I ended up in the wrong location and eventually found the right one without much help from them. When I got to the right location they said a shuttle would be there in 5-10 minutes. I waited outside for 45 minutes with my 4 year old in 30 degrees.
Upon the arrival of the shuttle it was a mad dash since there were several people waiting for the shuttle. We were literally running to get on the shuttle, which didn't actually pick us up where we were told to wait. It was much further back.
Upon arrival at the parking lot, I paid and placed my bags in the car. Upon returning home I noticed a HUGE scratch along my passenger door. This was most likely caused by a snow blower. While away NY received about 2 feet of snow. Though I was thankful they cleared my car and had it ready, they damaged it pretty badly in the process. I would NOT recommend using their services.
We came back from a trip after a blizzard a few years back. The car was cleared off and running and warm.
They are worth every penny. They take you right to your terminal and pick you up.with no issues ever.
JFK Long Term Parking is a great business. The people there are friendly and efficient. The check-in and check-out process is reliably smooth and quick. At their lot when you check in there is always a shuttle van ready to take you to your departure terminal. The check-out is a simple phone call and the van picks you up at the terminal outside of the baggage pick up area in short order. Typically the car is well-cared for (only one time I picked up my car and it had some sticky substance that had dripped onto the rear third of my car). JFK Long Term Parking takes a video of the vehicle when it's dropped off so there's proof of the initial drop-off condition. I have never had any damage or things go missing from any vehicle of mine.
We usually fly out of Newark since we live in NJ but anytime we fly from JFK we always use your parking lot. It’s so convenient to drop off our car and load our luggage right into the shuttle and when we return, our car is waiting for us and we can load our luggage right away and head back home with no delay. The shuttle back to the lot was already waiting at the terminal when we came out and we had no wait time.
I've used JFK long-term parking many times and it's always easy and simple fast courteous. And as a woman traveling alone at times when there may not be many people around I always feel safe when dropping off my car and picking it up. The only suggestion that I would ask is that at all peak hours between let's say 12am and 6: 00am in the morning when picking up at the airport that people have to show a valid ticket.
I was a bit skeptical but am now a convert. Reservation without pre-pay, easy pick-up (driver knew the way around the traffic jam) and front door drop off, cancelled flight reschedule with an easy call, AAA 20pct discount, pick up at curb with less than a 10 min wait and car waiting for me in the same condition I left it. These are hard working local guys delivering an excellent product at a better price.
