I purchased Jigsaw Trading's basic…

I purchased Jigsaw Trading's basic package in January 2020. It has been absolutely transformational for my trading - I went from someone who was groping about with technical analysis and flash-in-pan EAs and methods to having an in-depth understanding of institutional trading methods.Top tip - the training you will receive is far, far, far more valuable than the software they give (though Jigsaw's Auction Vista is a must if you are trading E-mini S&P 500, you will be trading naked without it!). Auction Vista carries some similarities to BookMap, though I believe Auction Vista came to market far earlier; plus Jigsaw's education suite is far superior to anything else offered in market. I recommend Jigsaw to everyone - whether you are a beginner seeking to not make $10,000 mistakes, an intermediate guy like me who has recouped his $10,000 mistakes, or the expert who has made multiples off the $10,000 mistakes of others ;-)

This man works very hard to make as many people as happy as possible. So hopefully if you get bent over something, you can just be polite and as patient as possible. He is very honest!!! I hope and wish you the best with the product. It is not for everyone. So do your homework on it before buying.RJ - USA

Jigsaw/Axia Institutional Course

Hi all,One of the great things about Jigsaw (there are lots of others) is Peter's partnership with Axia Futures. The Jigsaw Institutional Course is taught by the traders at Axia, and they are amazing. The course is amazing--and huge! There is so much material I've been trying to work through it for quite a few months, and still have a lot of videos to watch. The content is mostly videos, but it also includes replay drills, where you'll be given a time to trade a particular order flow event in a particular market, and you trade it on replay and then answer questions (some of them quite tricky) about your experience (note that it's very helpful, as always, to record those drills) and finally watch the video of an Axia trader trading the event with commentary on what's happening. Those replay drills are fabulous. But the videos are also amazing. There are a ton of debriefs of live trading, where you get to hear what a very high level trader swinging hundreds of contracts was thinking and see how they executed on their ideas. Not all of their plans work out, and they show you those too, complete with self-criticism, and sometimes a P&L window into the tens of thousands of dollars they went down before reversing decisively and making all of it back and a lot more. I really appreciate that they discuss trades that didn't work, because those reflective qualities are a huge part of becoming a successful trader. There are plenty of order flow setups discussed and shown in live trading for anyone to get started with at least a couple solid trades they could feel confident about using in the live markets. The foundation in the course for doing that is the live trading exercises, which consist of sim trading the setup repeatedly and taking detailed notes to refine the setup and particularly determine for oneself under what market conditions (auctioning, velocity, volume, liquidity, etc.) the setup is likely to work. One of the best things about the course is the way the Axia traders discuss size and how to modulate size to get really excellent results, even with a low win rate, although the way I trade, I feel more comfortable with a high win rate, and I've had weeklong streaks with a win rate of 85%, so something must be working. That said, while I'm getting good at the more skills based part of trading, every so often I've been having really negative P&L days on account of the emotional part of trading real money, and some bad habits I pickup up sim trading in the Jigsaw environment where you have unlimited resources. So a feature I'd like to see in Jigsaw and Journalytix is a way to limit the size available and keep track of the balance of a sim account. Until they have that, I'd suggest sim trading with the Jigsaw tools, but running the trades through your brokerage's demo account. The course does discuss the core practices traders need to take up when they aren't actively trading (like exercise, routine, meditation, visualization, and journaling) in order to progress. But the discussion is relatively brief and doesn't have the same level of rigor as the rest of the course. That isn't really a criticism, but more of a warning that those parts of trading are hugely important and so if you don't already have those down in the context of trading real money, just be careful and maybe look for another source of rigor in those areas, so you don't lose too much money learning those lessons. I'm enrolled in a new course from one of the Axia traders in Portugal that addresses those areas in greater detail for support, but have also been fortunate enough to not get killed learning the hard way. As the Axia guys say, there is a profitability J curve in learning to trade and I've taken some knocks, but I'm controlling my risk better and am hopefully approaching the bottom of the curve. This is a long term thing that isn't easy, but I keep thinking about next year and the year after that, and my progress and the potential keep me going. I have faith persistence will win the day.I can't recommend the institutional course highly enough, and also the Jigsaw tools.

Jigsaw Changed My Trading Life Forever!

Jigsaw Changed My Trading Life Forever!Sure it's a bold claim but let me tell you where I was to where I am today. I got started in Futures trading approximately 6 years ago and tried every indicator and listened to countless trading gurus only to have ended blowing up 2 accounts to the tune of a combined $20K. I was at my wits end not knowing what I was going to do at that point. While spending some time away from trading and doing some soul searching on what I was going to do, I remembered a successful broker friend had introduced me to Jigsaw DayTradr 6 months earlier and I had purchased the software but never installed it. At that point I vowed I was going to do whatever it took to be a successful trader and I installed the Jigsaw software and dove headfirst into the awesome training that's included with the software. At first it was all so foreign to me learning how orderflow works, but Peter Davies has a way of explaining things that make it easy to understand. I watched each of the videos a minimum of 5 times each and followed the exercises he laid out in the order he requested. So often the student wants to do it their way rather than listen to the instructor who has had success. To this day I review at least one video a week as a refresher for myself and it seems I always pick up a new nugget. I laugh when I hear someone who has never used Jigsaw software say that it's not worth it when they have absolutely no clue what they're talking about. I read a previous review of Jigsaw and it was immediately compared to Sierra Charts and also a trader who posts training for free on YouTube. Sierra Chart is a technical charting platform that has a monthly cost but isn't order flow software. Some of the world's best professional traders and prop firms use the Jigsaw DayTradr software because it gives them the edge to see what is happening real time during the trading session. Remember charts are what already has happened while order flow is what is happening now. I love how Jigsaw has taken their training a step further and offers the option for purchase of advanced skills training and even has training available that was produced through one of the world's premiere prop firms. This is the same prop firm that uses Jigsaw DayTradr in their day to day operations. What's ironic is that I went to YouTube to check out the mentioned trader in the comical earlier review and I was excited to see that this particular individual uses Jigsaw DayTradr also in his daily trading! In fact he even has a video where he shares the personalized settings he uses in DayTradr, and during the video there are a couple of mentions of why he likes and even loves Jigsaw DayTradr. Wow!..someone who is apparently successful trading who uses Sierra charts for his analysis yet doesn't trade without using Jigsaw. So don't be swayed by a negative review by someone who apparently has an axe to grind. Jigsaw consistently ranks very highly on Trustpilot. I don't know about you but I'm more inclined to believe those that are making money trading with a trusted product than those that are not. And in the event you do need some personalized help with understanding DayTradr, Peter Davies is an email away where you can send him questions you may have. In addition he has created a Chat Room where you can bounce ideas off of other traders and even make some new life long friends. I know because I'm a member of that Chat Room myself and there are some really knowledgeable traders in there. And finally, when was the last time you bought a piece of software with a one time cost that offers lifetime access and free upgrades?? In addition did that software producer solicit your ideas about what you'd like to see in future versions of the software? I can honestly say that Bill Gates never sent me an invite for anything like that but I know Peter Davies did to all of us end users. Since using Jigsaw DayTradr and learning the correct way to trade futures I've gone from being broke to the past year and a half being consistently profitable. I never could have imagined that consistency would go from making $100 per day to now enjoying profits of $1000 - $5000 a day. Was it easy? No. But show me anything in life that you wanted to master that didn't require time, effort, and discipline to achieve it. The question you need to answer to yourself is, "Am I willing to take the time and do whatever it takes to learn the necessary skills to win in the trading game?" I wish you all the best of success.

After a few years of trying to figure…

After a few years of trying to figure out orderflow on my own I took a hard look at myself and the progress I have made. The amount of progress versus the amount of time spend infront of the screen was not great to say the least. So i gave myself two choices. Either give it up or reach out to someone who can help. I contacted Jigsaw and explained my situation and we talked about how to progress and move forward. Now I am about three weeks into the price ladder course and I am making much better progress than I did before. I still have a long, long way to go but I finally feel in am getting somewhere and Jigsaw have been extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and guide me along the way. If you are the type of person who can figure out the markets on your own, I tip my hat and congratulate you. If not, don't get stuck. Ask for some help and together you can make a plan on how to move forward.
