Beware of Jobescape.me. I signed up for a USD$15.19 plan, but while browsing, a USD$69.99 "one-time offer" popped up and charged my card without a clear confirmation step or my consent. This is a classic "dark pattern" scam designed to trick vulnerable users.
When I reached out for a refund, "Emma" from their support team cited "Section 5" of their terms to deny me. However, no terms and conditions were shown during the pop-up, and there was no requirement to read or click "I Agree" before the payment was processed. Everything is intentionally kept unclear to trap you into paying.
To make it worse, they refused a refund unless I "completed their training modules"—essentially forcing me to use a product I never intended to buy just to qualify for my own money back and said they will only refund 50% of USD$69.99 when in fact they already have gotten my USD $15.19.This is ridiculous!
As a 50+ individual currently recovering from cataract surgery, I find their aggressive tactics and refusal to acknowledge accidental charges to be predatory and unethical. I have filed a formal report with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and notified my bank of this fraudulent transaction. Avoid this site at all costs!
2 days and 3 lessons into learning how to create AI automation with the Jobescape learning modules, and I am truly enjoying the process. Great work on the UI guys. I'm a big tech fan, but I don't quite work in tech, and I think this is a great way to break into the field or dabble in as a second source of income. Looking forward to proving your system works.
I like how simple it is so far, and the way it explains everything in simple terms. Someone like me who has zero experience is able to get through easily, which is a big plus.
So far I'm loving this. It's very easy to follow along with and understand. I'm actually finding myself looking forward to the next chapters which with other courses I've signed up for before were difficult for me to even continue on with because they seemed very scattered.
Seems to be committed to setting the students up for financial freedom. I'm just starting out, completed 1st course, so time will tell but am fully committed on completing the 4 week course.
