Excellent customer service from start to finish from Qasier. Knowledgeable. Good deal for my PX vehicle. Reasonably easy to get hold of in the branch via telephone. He went the extra mile and delivered the car to a hotel locally when I was at a conference and picked up my car.
I'd recommend Johnsons Volkswagen Stafford to anyone because despite all the things that went wrong with my purchase; I cannot fault the staff! From the moment I appeared in their dealership (unexpected and on a snow day!) I was made to feel welcome and that both members of the team I was dealing with went above and beyond to find my a vehicle within budget.
Whilst the car wasn't ready to test drive as soon as I would have liked (or as I was initially advised) I was happy with the vehicle and the following timeline.
On the afternoon I was supposed to pick up the car - with an hour to go - it all went wrong; the finance paperwork was... deleted? So we couldn't complete handover - but my own insurance was due to expire that day... I was kindly offered a lovely courtesy car for the weekend... but then the safe broke; so that wasn't an option. Then I was offered multiple resolutions... all of which failed to follow through until one of their staff members kindly drove me home (leaving my car on their site). A little Polo (not ideal but it was fine) was then kindly delivered to my home address. However, luckily I checked the insurance paperwork that had been dropped off as it did not contain my details - but my husbands! bizarre! However, after calling back (explaining all this all over again to another staff member) - this was resolved quickly and I was added to the cover.
I heard nothing from them until Tuesday - but then everything was processed quickly; Mitch was super friendly, efficient and I genuinely felt that he did everything he could in the difficult circumstances; the manager made the effort to check-in whilst I was back in the dealership and overall - as said, I cannot fault the service of the team. They were all super kind; friendly and I believe they tried everything in their power to rectify errors quickly.
The only staff-member I will mention - who was rude in every interaction I had with her over the last 3 weeks - was the young receptionist. Everytime I spoke with her - she rolled her eyes and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her - not ideal! The other receptionist - lovely lady; super kind and nothing was too much bother.
