My instructor was fantastic, possessing extensive nautical knowledge, and he challenged all students to grasp the physics and mechanics of sailing. I gained a wealth of knowledge in just two weeks. I wholeheartedly recommend this instructor and the service for anyone serious about learning to sail.

After completing the Dayskipper fast track course, I feel compelled to share my experience with the service. I gave this review 5 stars, largely due to the instructors. One was excellent in theory, but the highlight was the other instructor for the practical training. She is a true professional who ensures you achieve your best. After a week, I felt confident in my ability to skipper a yacht. However, there was a downside regarding the training boats; some issues remained unresolved even after weeks. I hope the service addresses these concerns, as strong instructors deserve well-maintained boats.
I booked a 9-day Day Captain course, and it was an amazing experience! The instructor was straightforward and a truly fantastic person. The boat was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful time, and I look forward to the next stage of my captaincy journey. I just completed a two-week novice to Day Skipper course. It was challenging, with four days in class and an RYA exam, followed by 10 days at sea, but the instructors were exceptional. One taught me the theory, while the other covered Day Skipper and Competent Crew. Both were knowledgeable and made learning engaging and relatable. The owners were supportive and helped enhance my experience, even planning a sailing trip to gain more miles. I learned a lot and left with my Yachtmaster Offshore. The principal's attitude was dismissive, the boats were poorly maintained, and there was a lack of transparency about fees. When I sought clarification on examiner costs for a canceled exam, I received a defensive response. The environment felt condescending, lacking the professionalism expected from a training provider. I earned my Yachtmaster Offshore elsewhere, and the difference in respect and professionalism was stark. Choose a reputable school that values its students.

Practical insights were provided, especially regarding long passages. The enthusiasm of another instructor, who shared industry knowledge, was invaluable. Another challenged us constructively, keeping our knowledge sharp. Overall, it was a well-rounded experience.
