I found myself stranded 2000 miles from home due to my card being locked, despite informing the service of my travel plans a week ahead. After several calls, I learned I would need to endure a 25-hour wait for the card to be unlocked. Frustration doesn't even begin to capture my feelings!
I was left stranded 2000 miles from home because my card was locked, even after notifying the service a week in advance about my travel. I had to call multiple times before learning I would have to wait 25 hours for the card to be unlocked. Frustration is an understatement!
I received a personal check from someone banking with a local institution. When I tried to cash it there, I was informed that a $10 fee would apply since I don't have an account with them. I've never faced such charges at other banks for cashing a check from the same institution. This seems unfair, and I won't recommend this banking service to others.
This has been the worst banking experience I've encountered. After almost 2 years as a customer with a $250 limit, they refused to raise my limit even after I paid my balance down to $0. Despite my consistent income and other accounts increasing my limits, they lectured me for nearly 30 minutes on why they couldn't accommodate me. This card feels useless, with high rates and poor service. I will not recommend this to anyone.
This company targets students with large credit lines at exorbitant interest rates. They show no concern for their customers. Parents, be cautious and protect your young adults from this trap. Also, be aware that they seem to erase negative feedback online.
The interest rates are extremely high. They confirmed that despite my six-year history as a customer, I would never be offered a rate lower than 32.9%, which is more than double the average. They approve credit cards for everyone knowing they will profit eventually. This card has an annual fee, lacks rewards, and disregards customer loyalty. Additionally, the website is not user-friendly, even after recent updates.
Having been a member since 2001, I was unaware of APR concerns while focusing on my education after graduation in 2002. I haven’t used this card since 2011, only managing to make minimum payments while facing a 29.99% APR. Despite my credit improving over the years, I never received any updates or promotions. I eventually managed to transfer balances to escape a $12,000 debt. Exercise caution with this banking institution.
