Good directions, no code to enter on arrival which slightly confused us. Will be using them often in the future as we have many appointments at the kings hospital coming up this year .
The parking spot itself was taken and there were multiple cars blocking each other in. So I rang their customer service, and while they were able to find me an on street parking 0.5miles away, it made me late getting to my event. I'm grateful they found me something but I had to waste time on the phone, then literally run half a mile to get somewhere. Not ideal for a first experience.
I decided to drive into Bedminster, Bristol on a rainy Saturday morning. Knowing that the store I was going to visit was in the 'heart' of Bristol and probably frought with difficult road conditions and access issues I decided to pre-book a parking space via JustPark in Bedminster, Bristol. When looking up ASDA's parking you are directed to access the parking area via East Street BS3 4JY. The carpark is large and shown to be partly full in promotional images.
I went through the intimidating and threatening JustPark booking registration and payment process, with insurance cover, to find that their conditions of use, payment and refund restrictions are only presented to the customer after paying for a reserved parking; I found this to be an 'entrapping' and manipulative process, not transparent and in the customers best interest in any manner or form. Nevertheless, I'd committed and paid so I followed the email links to the parking sent to me by JustPark.
The JustPark reserved parking bay allocated to me was at 1 East Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4HH which is the Barley Mow Freehouse on Google maps? Following through on JustPark's booking confirmation email labelled 'GO TO MY BOOKING' link and the carpark entrance and location address is listed as 1 East Street, Bedminster BS3 4JY? - the street side of ASDA's parking I assume but in Bedminster Parade? In another allocated parking link email from JustPark my allocated parking is shown to be at 51°26'37.5"N / 2°35'42"W a brown facebrick wall on one side of ASDA's parking bay - each reference and address sent to me by JustPark was different?
At this stage, I felt uneasy about the parking booking because JustPark had sent me three different instructions and Google links on where my paid for and insured parking bay was - their information was confusing and at best totally unclear, dishonest would be too strong a discription but not far of that? I did not feel that I could use the booking safely and confidently and decided to cancel the booking and get a refund.
But, yes, you guessed it, I was refused a refund because I'd cancelled too soon and JustPark were not able to cancel their booking with the lessor or some such bull! JustPark, appear to entrap customers at this carpark location via poor and incorrect access and parking instructions knowing that they are not going to refund customers who cancel their bookings many hours ahead of their scheduled booking time.
Be very wary of booking with this business, their actions indicate that they may not be above board and sincere traders. I won't call JustPark dishonest and untrustworthy traders, people who may read this feedback can draw their own conclusions. I will never use them again. Sincerely Hilton.
Going in and parking was fine but the exit was a complete shambles with only one exit open we waited over a hour just to move down the ramp from upstairs to downstairs. There was no help apart from one young man that was trying to contact someone to try and get the other exits open because every one was complaining. Due to the poor organisation I was late getting back to pick my son up from school after the concert. The whole thing was disgusting.
The car park itself was spacious, secure, tidy, easy to find, and conveniently located close to tram and bus stops, only 20 minute walk to Etihad/Co-Op Live. Great for the price we paid. I gave 4 stars due to the rude car park attendant. Manners cost nothing.
Firstly, The poor chap who had to deal with me was really lovely. HOWEVER- there were not enough spaces for the paying people. It was over booked. I had driven 2 hours and we had to block someone in and come back early missing the end of the gig. So cross.
Do not suggest using this company, go through stub hub or seat geek. We were turned away from the parking garage, I contacted customer service but still no refund. No call from supervisor, after requesting one several times. Paid for a service I did not receive and they said there is nothing they can do. Had to use stub hub to buy another pass.
I used this service to find a parking space in London because my hotel didn’t have parking. All I needed to do was just book the space and park when needed and leave after I was done. Simple and no fuss 10/10
