I signed up for the $5 trial to test the service, not with the intention of committing to a full subscription.
Yes, technically I forgot to cancel before the trial ended. However, during that time I was at the hospital for a week dealing with a serious mental health crisis involving my brother. When real-life emergencies happen, managing online subscriptions is simply not a priority.
In my opinion, a paid trial should not automatically roll into a higher subscription without stronger separation between trial access and full membership intent. Situations like mine show how easily people can be charged when they are dealing with urgent personal matters.
I asked for as refund over email to Phill from the team and requested a refund as a goodwill gesture, but the response did not take the circumstances into consideration.
I’m disappointed this couldn’t be resolved directly. I’ll now need to speak with my bank about the charge. as where i an location i have to pay X2 to what the cost is $29 = $48 in my country alot of money
I hope the company improves how trial transitions are handled, especially for customers going through unexpected life situations.

I had such a horrible experience with Kaiber. I signed up for their free trial. Didn't end up using it all that much and cancelled (or thought I did) a couple of days before I would be charged for a monthly subscription. Then I got a notice that they charged me anyway. I emailed them back that day and said that I had cancelled a couple of days prior. The representative "Phil" asked me for proof of that. They had never emailed me proof of cancellation. I emailed back, "It appears Kaiser did not email me a cancellation confirmation. I did cancel very intentionally, two or three days ago. Please respect that and reverse this charge. Otherwise, I will be posting an extremely negative review of your platform. I hope you understand." Phil responded only with "otherwise?". I replied "I'm sorry, I don't understand your question." Phil replied, "We don't take threats lightly, ty." and "I recommend not leading with those sorts of threats. Bad reviews are not really that worrying to companies. try a different approach, and you may find a better reply." I replied, "I had no intention of threatening you. I only wanted you to know that if Kaiber does not reverse this charge, as it should, I will review the company negatively. But it seems to me that Kaiber is not a professionally run company. In any case, please confirm that my account has been cancelled immediately and that no further charges will be charged to me." His final long reply was, "We don't care about reviews as we work with many professionals in the industry. What we do care about is politeness and requests in a respectful manner. Like, hey guys, can you reverse the payment? None of this otherwise crap lol. its not a great look. A simple way to request is to just ask. Not sure why you feel the need to threaten. We are a professional company, and we have refund policies in place. What you should do is if you are refused, then have a go lol. Not clever to do so before anyone respondsAND "honest, I don't really care if you review badly lol. i just hate people who feel the need to make threats when you can simply ask politely lol.PhilKaiber / SuperstudioYIKES!
STAY AWAY!! I tried the platform for a few days and tried to cancel on the last day, but they had already taken the payment. They flatly refused to give me a refund when I asked for one right away, keeping my money instead. This company is blatantly fraudulent. Plus, the interface is horrible, not user-friendly at all. For example, you can paste your prompt. You have to type it all out. This is a significant waste of both time and money. I would not recommend this company at all!
COWBOY OUTFIT - AVOID . Here is a copy of my 4th and final email to this Companys customer service support page. True to form , it remains , as with all my previous messages ignored and unanswered-with them STILL trying to draw an illegal subscription payment on my bank card- which for the time being i have frozen . BE WARNED, Here is my finsl email to them «! Two further requests for payment were made by you today but without any kind of response or acknowledgement of my emails to you. It is obvious that your Outfit is either totally incompetent or deliberately fraudulent . Either way i will be pressing for a full investigtion from my bank and reporting a possible scam to the Norwegian Police to look into it.A full report of this criminal behaviour by whatever bunch of cowboys run the app will be factually reported on Trust pilot and other social media platforms as a warning and a public service to to others who may also be being scammed . YOURE BUSINESS ETHICS ARE BOTH DESPICABLE AND PATHETIC AND YOU WILL BE MADE TO PAY . Unless there has been some big misunderstanding then let justice tkes its course. No more warnings « AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The Image to Video generation is top class, it does exactly what i want most of the time, It has a very nice UI that takes the complexity out of everything. No Issues with payments except that is it quite expensive, maybe they can make the top up credits a little cheaper?
Stole my money and deny giving it back. I tried to cancel but it showed nothing, like there was no subscription, but then charged me 29$ and refuse to give me a refund. I could not even cancel?Also their product is not working, fair, maybe they are new to this but dont steal people's money and act arrogant!Update:Kaiber answered my review and is lying about me.Here is my answer:I did in fact not try to cancel my subscription via Google Play. I went to their app and choose "manage subscription" where THEIR APP DIRECTLY SEND ME TO GOOGLE PLAY AND SHOWED NO SUBSCRIPTION. What am i supposed to do then. And they also cannot guarantee their customers have a computer by hand at all times. And yes their product is not working i figured after paying 5$ first on purpose and then wanting to cancel before they would charge more as stated above. But again I could not cancel the subscription. And they said only 1 payment was made no that's a lie. 2 payments was made.And yes their product is not working its not doing what I tell it to so ofc I would not want to be another 29$.I am angry.They also say:"you have also used the credits since then to create ai generations". Give context please. I use it after u already denied giving me my money several times, to show that the app also doesnt work as it should, to show even more how ridiculous it is.Update:Yes because I realized it back then (funnily it looked like I didnt have any subscription when i went to manage subscriptions but was charged anyways) and I didnt know how to contact u guys cause when i pressed help in the app I was directed to a website that's hard to figure to figure out and no contact formular. But then figured I'll try to contact the automatic email I got with the 29$ bill.
