The prices for these steaks are unreasonably high. 4-8oz tenderloins at $179 equate to about $89 per pound. I could get 4 - 8 oz of premium cuts from a local butcher and still save $100.

Terrible treatment due to wrong order

I was treated poorly because I received the wrong items and not everything was sent correctly. When I requested a box for returning items, they refused. I will be calling again tomorrow to try and get my money back and return everything. I don't want anything for free, just what I originally ordered.

Inconsistent NY strip steaks

The NY strip steaks had too much fat, and the thickness varied significantly—one was 1/2 inch and the other was 1 1/4 inches. We also ordered $149 Tomahawk steaks that were tough. Disappointing.

First order disappointment

This was my first time ordering. I am very disappointed as I received the wrong order; I got steak instead of the whole smoked turkey. They said they would replace it, but the earliest delivery isn't until next week. I needed the turkey for a holiday dinner. I just want my refund. I advise against ordering from this company if they can't manage their orders properly.

Once great, now disappointing

When their steaks are good, they are fantastic, but that’s only about 75% of the time now. Deliveries can take weeks, even with a premium charge. The filets often come in pieces—an 8 oz filet might consist of 3-5 separate chunks. Some packages may not be airtight, leading to questionable meat. Customer service is hit or miss; we used to love them, but now we tend to avoid them.

Best steaks but shipping issues

These steaks are the best, surpassing restaurant quality! But why only 2 stars? SHIPPING! I spent over $700, and they couldn’t keep my steaks frozen during transit! With shipping to a hot location, shouldn’t they use extra dry ice? The first delivery was a mess; one box was bloody, and most steaks were partially thawed. They are replacing the bloody steaks, but what about my filets and flat iron?

Extremely frustrating experience

Poor customer service experience

The steak was good during my first order, but my second order was mishandled by customer service. I faced a rude attitude from the representative, and my order was never delivered due to an issue with shipping. After numerous emails, I finally received my refund, but the representative never apologized for the situation. The supervisor showed no concern either when I inquired about any courtesy credit for the inconvenience.
