I received lobster meat as a birthday gift, but the customer service was appalling. The packaging lacked clear information on whether the meat was pre-cooked. The fine print on the vacuum-sealed package warned against defrosting above 38 degrees before cooking, which led us to believe it needed to be cooked. However, it turned out that it was already pre-cooked, resulting in a tasteless and rubbery dish. The most frustrating part was the inability to properly address my concerns with the company. Their chatbot provided generic responses, directing me to their website for cooking instructions. When I filled out their email form, I received the same unhelpful replies. Eventually, I got a 'human' response that only reiterated the canned answers, insisting I should have checked their website beforehand. It’s absurd to expect customers to consult a corporate site for cooking advice, especially when that information wasn't even on the packaging. The company clearly shows no interest in customer satisfaction, and a simple note about pre-cooked status could have completely changed this experience. They simply don't care.
