I followed the sizing guide, which recommended going down half a size from my usual fit (it felt strange, but I tried it again with the same outcome). A friend has some different boots that are larger, so I decided to take the plunge. The boots are quite snug now and can only accommodate a thin sock. I haven't tested them outside yet and can only hope they loosen up a bit with wear. I found the sizing guide unhelpful and wish I had trusted my instincts. The boots seem well-made and would likely be very comfortable if it weren't for the slight toe pain due to being a bit short. Honestly, I'm a bit frustrated. I have other pairs from the same brand that have always been excellent.
The quality does not match the £120 price tag, so I returned the item. After using this brand for over ten years, I was disappointed with my recent order of the crossover hiking/sandal model. Although it was labeled size 42, it felt at least a size too big, and the leather quality was much inferior to previous products. There were unfinished stitching details that clearly did not meet the expected standard of craftsmanship. As an avid climber and traveler, I found this product far from worth the price. This experience has unfortunately decreased my trust in the brand, which is disappointing.
The quality does not reflect the £120 price tag. I returned the item. Having used the brand for over a decade, I recently ordered a different style of sandal. Although it was labeled as size 42, it felt at least a size larger, and the leather was significantly inferior compared to previous purchases. The stitching was unfinished, which is disappointing for a brand known for quality. As a climber and hiker, I find this product nowhere near worth the price. It's unfortunate that my trust in the brand has diminished due to what seems like cost-cutting measures. Such a shame.
I've had my shoes for less than four months, and they are already falling apart. The fabric on the heel has worn through, exposing a sharp edge that causes blisters, making them nearly unwearable. Additionally, the waterproof layer has split, compromising the waterproof feature. Given the price, they seem very poorly made.
