I came to Keystone to help me progress a particularly difficult divorce. Hannah Cornish provided me with a lot of support and advice during my case. No hard truths were sugar coated, just facts told as they were. I really appreciated this honesty. My previous experience with solicitors wasn't positive, one had told me half truths in order to become a paying customer and then hit me with the cold hard reality when I had to pay, another did not have sufficient time to deal with my case meaning getting responses to queries and contacting them was exceptionally difficult and stressful. Hannah was always easy to contact and converse with. I felt truly supported during my divorce. Would recommend Hannah and Keystone to anyone going through a difficult divorce.
I can't fault Carolyn Bane at Keystone; we have been working with her for around a year now for our business contract work and she is incredibly diligent and reliable. It's very helpful and rare to have a lawyer who is approachable and helpful when you know very little yourself! As for the wider Keystone group it is also very helpful to have on hand a huge wealth of expertise at your fingertips - we have been able to access other lawyers very easily who have been enormously helpful to our business.
Carolyn was recommended to me for commercial legal support by another lawyer that I had worked with for many years. I need flexibility terms of the amount of work as this fluctuates on a month to month basis, but I also need certainty in who that support will be as consistency is really important. Working with Carolyn has been perfect in this regard. She has got up to speed with the business very quickly and we have established a strong working relationship. As a departing Director of a small business, and someone who is not familiar with the legal process, the sale of my shares back to the company i founded was a daunting prospect. While the sale should have been straightforward it is always inevitable that the parties involved will hold different views on the price and the meaning of the company documents. I found Edward Bond of Keystone to be very helpful and reassuring in guiding me through the necessary steps and in bringing the matter to a relatively swift resolution. It is very easy in these situations for the differences of opinion to become personal but Edward did not allow that to happen and so difficult discussions were certainly resolved relatively amicably.
