We adopted "Buster" three years ago and always debated what breed he was. The Koko Genetics Starter kit was super easy to use, even with a wiggly dog. The results came back faster than expected, and it turns out he’s a mix of Beagle and Terrier! The trait report explained so much about his energy levels. Highly recommended for any rescue owner.
Had my costal SPCA dog tested and finally I know what mix she is! Some of the breeds I expected while others I was quite surprised about! The time to get the results was fairly quick and I didn't even know traits were included which was a nice surprise!My only issue that I had with the entire process is that the mobile site for Koko genetics needs a lot of work, there was quite a few times where the site would open in Spanish, or be showing things like "{{traits.test1.item1}}" or something like that instead of text or buttons, but otherwise when the site did work its really nicely laid out with a pie chart showing your dogs mix, drop down boxes to show a picture of each breed along with a summary of the breed and same thing for the traits!

I touched base with them a couple of times and they were always quick, clear, and informative.I hadn’t realised our dog’s swab was being sent to Europe (I’d assumed it stayed in Australia), but they explained everything really well and kept us updated. We got our results back and were absolutely blown away – never in a million years did we expect our dog to be part bulldog!The report was very detailed, super informative, and honestly a lot of fun to go through. Highly recommend!
