We don't really see how you could get the dog we have with the ancestory described in our results DNA package. Our dog looks like an identical twin to many of the Carolina Dog breed. The results say American Staffordshire Terrier, pit bull terrier, leonberger, mastiff, jack russell, japanese spitz, dachsund, and collie. I guess the dachsund, jack russell, and spitz could account for the fact that she is much smaller than all of the other breeds. Her hair is like a jack russell but not the same color. None of the breeds have the ears she has. ???? I wonder if they don't have Carolina Dog in their data base, given the company is in Spain and it is an American breed? If I had realized this was not an American company, I would not have picked this company. It took over 2 months to get the results. The family tree and categories of information on the various breeds was well done, we just don't know if we trust the process fully. We gave 3 stars, simply because we would need a second opinion before we could give a full five stars, due to the fact that our dog looks nothing like ANY of the dogs in the family tree provided by Kokogenetics.

Went for the Advanced kit with my Spaniel because of all the usual breed concerns. The health report was really thorough and put my mind at rest – clear on the big ones. It’s helped me chat with the vet about his diet and exercise. Bit of an investment but totally worth it for the long-term peace of mind.
We got our Chihuahua mix from a shelter and wanted to know what type of genetic surprises might be ahead of us. The test results made complete sense without them having seen any sort of picture or knowing anything besides the dog's name. >50% Chihuahua, coat color, pattern etc. all matched although we know that phenotypes can't ever be 100% accurately predicted! Even my chat with customer support was super fast and helpful. They seem to be real people, not just bots. Happy to use their services in the future if we ever need another test.
I’ve used other DNA services in the past, but Koko Genetics was the fastest by a mile. From posting the swab to getting the notification, it took less than 3 weeks. The "physical traits" section was spot on regarding his coat colour and size. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
I always joked that my cat was just a generic "moggy," but the Koko Genetics test picked up markers for Maine Coon and Ragdoll. Actually makes sense why he’s so massive and fluffy compared to my other cats! The swab was easy enough—just a quick rub on the gums. Really chuffed with the insights.
Scam. do not buy. we bought a test 3 month ago and it is not possible to connect to our account we tried so many times. Customer service is not a customer service":it doesn't work out? try again! Impossible to create a nieuw account to get the kit registerd. We are really disappointet
