I’ve had the Kota sofa bed for a few months now and honestly it’s the first time a sofa bed has actually worked as both.As a sofa, it looks like a proper piece of furniture, not something that screams “guest solution.” The design is clean and modern without being cold, and it sits really nicely in the room. The proportions are good, the fabric feels durable but still soft, and it doesn’t sag or wrinkle the way many upholstered sofas do after a short time.The big surprise was the bed. Usually sofa beds are either a pain to open or uncomfortable to sleep on. This one is neither. The mechanism is simple and smooth, and you don’t feel bars or weird gaps through the mattress. We’ve had a couple of guests stay over and they all commented that they slept genuinely well, not “fine for a sofa bed” but actually well.Another thing I appreciate is the practicality. It arrived in a way that made moving it into the apartment much easier than a traditional bulky sofa, and the build quality feels solid. Nothing wobbly, no cheap-feeling parts.It’s not the cheapest option out there, but compared to buying a decent sofa and a separate guest bed, it makes a lot of sense. For anyone living in a city apartment or just wanting a flexible living space, this has been a really good buy.
Very happy. Was kind of a wild guess to buy a sofabed online, since it's not a cheap one, but for me it was worth it. Easy to set up and also perfect to transfer to my 5th floor appartement in boxes with vacuüm elements. It's sturdy, a nice fabric and easy to set up. I also like that it is super playful. You can put the couch elements everywere and make new constructions, even on the floor. I have the king size and it's perfect for one guest to sleep on if it's not folded out, or more people if folded out. Recoment to get the frames with it.
The experience of receiving the package is stellar. Was able to lift and bring the boxes in from the door directly into the room with ease.Unpacking was a fun experience and easier than I was expecting. This is definitely how buying a couch should be.Then the comfort. This beats our normal design couch as it’s firmer and sleeping on this is better for my back than my own bed. I wish I had gotten this sooner and I would have more sleepier nights.
