Honestly, for people with strict parents, it feels like a prison. We are all human and need a break

Honestly, for people with strict parents, it feels like a prison. We are all human and need a break from work that is like 4 yrs ahead. Currently I’m one of my centers top students so this is honest. I’ve passed 32 levels mag and reading combined. A couple thousand pages in total. I’ve also reached j6. I’ve gone from being a year below to 4 ahead. It’s not worth doing every packet you get. It is good for people who take it easy and improve at a rate they can manage. People who get to the top aren’t built like that. They just are normally really committed by their parents. So it can be a living hell. Honestly, my suggestion is to lower the price just a little and give a week off per month. Also if we tell u we are STRUGGLING, help us understand. Also I noticed that my center doesn’t have a lot of people who can help me. Btw I’m 12 and I am on level k for both subjects.

Kumon is making my cousin do 1rst grade math while in 8th grade like 2+1, while I be doing f-ing fractions which I already know. Though here is the thing! They gave me like 30 fraction questions. Kumon is wasting 2 hours of my time! Kids if you see this, I suggest you tell your parents because so far Kumon has not been helpful at all!

Extremely disappointed.

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this Kumon centre (greenford) . The woman who runs it is consistently rude to parents and often barks orders as if we are children ourselves, rather than paying customers. There are also serious issues with organisation. The centre appears to be overbooked, and our daughter’s schedule was constantly changed despite us clearly requesting a specific, consistent time. This made it very difficult to plan around. After a disagreement, even though we had already paid for the month in advance, she refused to issue any refund. We had also paid an additional month upfront, which she also refused to return. This felt completely unfair and unprofessional. What is most frustrating is that she was very polite and accommodating when we first registered, which now feels misleading given our actual experience.Overall, we feel let down and would not recommend this centre to other parents.

Kumon: Impressively Good at Wasting Time!

Kumon left me genuinely annoyed. The program felt like nothing more than a worksheet factory, and none of it seemed designed with actual learning in mind. It was just page after page of repetitive exercises that drained my child’s motivation and my patience. What really pushed me over the edge was how unwilling the program seemed to adapt. No matter what the issue was—too easy, too hard, not making sense—the answer never changed: just keep grinding through the same routine. It felt robotic and out of touch, like no one was actually paying attention to the student behind the paperwork.Trying to get support from staff didn’t help either. Every conversation felt scripted, rushed, and ultimately useless. In short: Kumon felt inflexible, unimaginative, and completely disconnected from what my child actually needed. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for real support or meaningful teaching

I am extremely dissatisfied with the Kumon tuition services.Kumon mostly gave my child repetitive worksheets with minimal guidance. This approach caused him stress and frustration, and we didn’t see the progress we expected.Needs improvement.

Kumon Sucks!!

Kumon is a dull, boring method of teaching "math". They call themselves, "The best Mathematics and English program." More like the worst! What people would expect from a place like that would be that there would be a teacher that can help us students and at least put the books in order. But no. At this point, our parents are paying $300+ a month for the same WORKSHEETS. Not to mention, I get up to NINE of the same worksheets in a pile of assignments. NINE! Are they too broke to make more? Are they just lazy? Or is it the dumb Kumon Way™? The "instructors" are also utterly useless and when you ask for help they say, "Use the examples," when they don't even give any!

Absolute Misery

Absolute misery is the only way to describe Kumon. They make you do 1st grade math for months no matter what grade you’re in. They don’t help you they charge a fortune and waste your time absolutely good for nothing i’d rather fail math than ever come to this place for help. I would recommend Kumon if you hate free time and would rather spend hours doing pointless packets. Also after spending an hour at the facility the give you 10+ packets to do in the next 2 days taking well over 3 hours to do them all. In conclusion this place sucks and you should never go there it’s also $300 a month

Franchisee in Badley Stoke

Franchisee in Bradley Stoke, Bristol UK operates illegally taking advantage of staff by not conforming with UK law ... Kumon don't care! As long as they get their money they are not interested!
