UK customers beware. I had to return the seat as my dog would not fit and Netherland's customs charge you a custom fee for the return, even though you are just returning the item purchased in their country in the first place. This with the return fee not being covered by the company, the whole experience of ordering the seat costs me half of the price of the seat itself. I have not tried to fit the seat to the bicycle so cannot say how hard or easy that is. The company has replied but had no other solution than for me to contact customs myself and pay the fee. Not the easy way to return the item as it makes you believe on their web-site.
The seat is difficult to assemble, the quality is for the price not right, what irritates me the most is the little customer service, I ordered the seat by double mistake and still had to pay the return. I don't recommend it. I am not happy with the product and service of the firm. Think about it well before making the purchase the price is very high and the quality is not worth it.
I really wanted to love Kvisp, but the whole experience was incredibly disappointing - and expensive. The product looked sleek and easy to install on the website, but in reality, it didn’t fit either mine or my partner’s bike. We spent almost an entire day trying to make it work, and eventually had to take it to a professional bike repair shop, who also struggled with it. At that point, we gave up and decided to return it.That’s when things got even worse. The international return process is a complete mess. Kvisp provides almost no information, so I had to contact customer service multiple times just to get basic instructions.Since I was returning from abroad, I spent a lot of time researching the best way to send it back and ended up paying over £110 in delivery and return-related fees, including duties for a product I didn’t even keep. That’s just absurd. When I looked at other Trustpilot reviews, it became clear I wasn't alone, plenty of people have had similar issues with Kvisp. I really wish I’d checked before buying. All in all, this was a costly and frustrating experience. Stylish branding can’t make up for a product that doesn’t work and a company that doesn’t support its customers. Avoid.
Nice design but made of cheap thin plastic, which easily breaks if your bike falls or lean to hard against a wall, and then you have to buy a full new one, since they do not sell spare parts. Mine only got to live for 2-weeks before it broke as it fell when on its kickstand in grass. Also bad for environment/climate to have to replace the whole seat when one part cracks. Would have expected better from a company from the NetherlandsWill only recommend if you are a very careful person, and have a bike with a very stable kickstand, and don't live in a city like Copenhagen or Amsterdam, where its not unlikely your bike may fall once in a while, due the rough bike parking conditions sometimes. The company is also not open for feedback, which is quite sad.
If this basket does not fit your bike, as it did not for me, it is impossible to return. Kvisp will not assist in any way including doing their part at customs. It cost $122 to ship it back and it sat at the Netherlands customs for 4 weeks and then was returned to me. Kvisp never responded to me. I have an unusable bike basket and it has cost me about $325.
