The capsule lessons capture art movements, using a few representative artists and some of their better-known works, but they are summaries that don’t show the scope of a period or movement. The use of contemporary inventions and scientific theories is a good way to contextualise the art and the mention of artist’ influences on future artists and movements is helpful. I now know where the Art Nouveau artists got their interest in red hair!
Adverts for this app were all over my instagram feed and as I am studying anatomy and physiology at the moment it felt like a good offering to try it. After answering a tedious set of questions I was then taken down a path to pay £9.99 to access the app. I paid my money in good faith. Downloaded the app and once downloaded it offered you a 7 day free trial. If I had known this I woudn't have paid £9.99 as once I was in the app it was immediately clear this was not what i needed as a support for my learning. I contacted the company straight away and was informed in the T&C's there is no refund. Despite there being a free trial on offer if I had not of gone via instagram. To be this is a total disgrace and I feel like I have been robbed.
Wanted to try but when i read automatic renewal, need to send email to cancel i understood this looks like a scam. A pitty as the idea looks good and they would have success if terms were appropriate. Maybe one day if theh change terms and conditions
