You guys are good but I’ve had a case where I could of sued my old job for discrimination and the attorney that was referred to me was not professional long story short I couldn’t continue with out the evidence but I’m pretty sure the attorney could of fought for me allot harder with a demand letter my advice is you should partner with attorneys that actually like working with legal shield not attorneys who’s gonna give the run around but other then that you guys helped me good in some other cases

Don’t deal with these con artists, liars, irresponsible people, beginning from the call center ending with most of their lawyers. Rude, racially motivated behavior and always screwed up, with zero accountability. Terrible people, the worst customer service ever seen. All they did, was causing more trouble and problems than they could have help. Terrible service. Will share on Google and all platforms along with my complaint to the State Bar. Corporate irresponsibility is their main strategy. Shame on them and their leaders!!!! Legal Scam rather than legal shield!!! Don’t get caught up with their lies.

I signed up for LegalShield expecting timely legal support, as clearly described in their membership agreement: consultation, document review, and clear communication from a provider law firm.

Instead, I got:

Automated emails

Delayed responses

No actual legal advice

And vague promises that my “information is under review”

It’s been days, and I’ve still not been contacted by an attorney. No coverage determination. No clear next steps. Just generic messages and a growing pile of frustration.

The membership promises a call within 8 business hours. That window passed long ago. Even after escalating, I’ve only received more stalling.

If this is how LegalShield handles basic consultation requests, I’m deeply concerned about how they’d perform in a serious legal matter.

Save your money. You’re not buying legal protection—you’re buying an expensive holding pattern.

I have been a member and associate for 25 years. Today the attorney with the State law firm took days longer to return my call than I was told and what has been usual. Once she called me she refused to answer my legal question. Again I have paid for 25 years and couldn't answer a quick legal question. I called customer service and corp. They do not care about the customer anymore that is for sure. I can't recommend them anymore and I am very disheartened about that. Can you wrap your head around losing a 25 year member at 50.00 a month because you don't want to answer a question. I was very shocked that someone couldn't come up with a smarter outcome

Difficult Cancellation Process and Unfair Charges

I registered on the platform and utilized the service just once, for which I paid. A few days later, I decided to cancel my membership plan. I discovered that cancellations could only be processed via email, not through the website. I sent an email on September 18, 2024, and received a response stating they were 'working on my request,' leading me to believe my membership would be canceled.
Over a year later, I found out through my bank statements that I had been charged $29 every month without my awareness. I immediately reached out again and had to cancel my card to prevent further charges.
As of January 15, 2026, they finally canceled my membership but informed me they would only refund the last three months, essentially suggesting I could voice my complaints elsewhere. Moreover, it's uncertain whether the refund will be processed since the card linked to the account is already closed.
This experience feels extremely unjust, misleading, and appears intentionally crafted to complicate the cancellation process. I couldn't find a suitable place to lodge a formal complaint, so I'm sharing my experience here. Proceed with caution before signing up.

As a small business owner, I often encounter various legal questions, and the support team responds promptly within 24 hours. Their legal staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and highly professional. 5 Stars all around!

Extremely disappointing service.

This service is utterly lacking. When you reach out for assistance, you end up speaking to 2-3 different representatives, none of whom are knowledgeable. No one ever returns your call. I've experienced this on two separate occasions. I'm now canceling this service, as it's a complete waste of money!

Potentially good service, but the associated legal firms are lacking.

The service seems promising in theory, but the legal firms they connect us with are quite poor. Many do not speak English as their first language and lack a solid understanding of the law. I’m baffled by how they possess any certification to handle legal matters. It often feels embarrassing, and my partner and I applied separately; his attorney was even less competent than mine. Communication was unclear, and there was no follow-up. Relying on them has honestly made the situation worse.

Great support from the Attorney

I already turned in a review. I do not want you to post the review in Trust Pilot. Here is my review:I was deeply satisfied with the service and representation provided by the Attorney. Attorney took a case that was a business-related case involving a fraudulent real estate actor who took my money and failed to provide the contracted services for which I had paid (renting out a timeshare property) within the specified timeframe. Although I had many questions along the way about the process involved, the Attorney was always patient and courteous (even when I became anxious). She was knowledgeable and totally sincere in her commitment and care for her clients. She responded whenever I asked for a call back, ever after the contracted service was complete. I did not get the result I wanted, and truth be told, I am very disappointed in that. But the attorney offered/explained additional recourses that I had.
