You Pay for Their Errors!

They messed up my passport photo and somehow blamed me for it. The image looks ridiculous, with my face barely visible and an odd skin tone. How is that my fault when I provided the correct photo? I was told I need to pay $200 to renew it. I contacted customer service, and they were unhelpful, saying they couldn't find the photo and couldn't connect me to someone who could help. What a scam!

I met with a representative who was incredibly responsive to my urgent request for a passport for an upcoming trip. Bureaucratic Nightmare

This agency is so bogged down by bureaucracy that nothing gets accomplished. I submitted a passport renewal application, but they claimed I didn't send my old passport card, which I never received. Now I need to reapply, which is incredibly difficult at a local office. Total incompetence!

Frustrating Online Renewal Process

I attempted to renew my child's passport online, but it was challenging to get the photos right. Ultimately, I had to submit a paper application and send new photos. I later received an email stating that paper applications are not accepted. Additionally, a death certificate I sent was deemed unacceptable, despite having provided it before. I had no choice but to cancel and start over, incurring extra costs. I was misinformed and had to wait longer than expected for my documents, only to discover they wouldn’t be returned.

Worse Than the DMV

I can't even give this place one star. This government agency is a complete disaster. After waiting over three months for my mother's passport, which was supposed to be expedited, we are now unable to attend her 80th birthday cruise. I spent over 28 hours on hold, and this is unacceptable!

Congressional Intervention Required

If I could give negative stars, I would. I finally received my passport, but it took intervention from my congressman to get it processed on time. There were no appointments available nationwide, which is absurd. I urge others to take action early or seek help from their congressional representatives. Customer service was terrible, with long hold times and unhelpful responses. This is a clear failure of government services.

Zero Stars Would Be More Appropriate
