I had a very disappointing experience with Lewken Plumbing and Heating. While the initial sales process seemed fine, the salesperson was overly pushy, pressuring me to sign the agreement quickly. The invoicing process was a mess, with serious attention to detail missing.The installation work itself was acceptable, but the engineer left the place in a terrible state, with inadequate cleaning. To make matters worse, the old water tank, which was supposed to be removed, was left behind. They also completely forgot to install the carbon monoxide alarm, which is not only a safety requirement but something we had specifically agreed upon.After the boiler was turned off for a few weeks while the house was empty, I’ve discovered that several radiators are not working properly. It’s clear the engineer was in a rush to leave without properly checking everything.I contacted James to share my concerns, but he was dismissive and didn't seem to care at all. Given that I paid £4.5k for this service, I’m extremely disappointed and would strongly advise against using this company
I rang Lewken in a bit of a panic due to my boiler breaking down and having a family with three young children and no heating or hot water I needed this sorting ASAP!I spoke with Jamie on the phone and explained my situation and he managed to get out to see me on the same day, unfortunately gave me the bad news I needed a new one but the service was amazing. I paid my deposit and by the next day I had an engineer at my house installing a new boiler and by the time I was home from work we had heating and hot water again! No mess left in the house and the engineers were very pleasant evening when my children kept asking them what they were doing! We had a Hive thermostat fitted and their engineer stayed and showed my partner how it all worked and just showed very thorough workmanship. Really impressive! Lyndsey was really helpful after and made sure we were happy with the install and I couldn't be happier, would recommend them to anyone!
