We moved house and our current combi-boiler was very old. we submitted an enquiry and Andy Lewken visited next day and offered suggestions for a new boiler and also listened to our request to re-positioning the boiler centrally in the house. 3 working days later Gary arrived for the 2 day installation with our new boiler. Gary worked non-stop and did a top notch job re-routing the boiler. Andy and Gary both showed great professionalism and Gary did a top notch job installing our new boiler. One and a half months on we have already seen a reduction in our energy bills as a result of this installation. Thank you both.
A very good experience. The tradesmen who were knowledgeable and skilled at their work gave me complete confidence and trust. They were glad to answer any questions and gave me all the advice I needed. They did all the required registering for me. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.
Recently had a problem with the boiler in the flat we rent out, the letting agents fitter was too expensive so we needed a quick quote to compare.Jamie at Lewken plumbing and heating was quick to respond, he arranged with my letting agent to gain access 1600hrs that afternoon, gave me a quote and talked me through what they propose, after accepting his quote the work was carried out 2 days later, putting 2 men on the job to complete in 1 day as opposed to 1 guy taking 2 days to complete the job.My Tennant was then able to have hot water before the Easter weekend.Job well doneThank you Jamie and the team from Lewken
I had a problem with my only loo not flushing in my holiday let on Sunday evening . I called Lewkens explained the situation and they contacted me within minutes to say Jamie would be with me at 8am Monday morning. He arrived on time, dealt with the problem which turned out to be trickier and more of an issue than everyone thought. But it was all done and sorted by 10.30 and everywhere left neat and tidy and for the price quoted. I have no problem recommending this firm and Jamie and have them listed for another plumbing jobs I might like to do in the future.
I have been using Lewken Plumbing for many years and I've never been disappointed in the quality of workmanship from any of their employees. They have always been very professional and efficient with excellent troubleshooting skills. The service is very prompt, and Gord has sometimes walked me through issues on the phone before coming in for service. We contacted this company over the internet after having trouble with our boiler . We contacted them over the weekend and on Monday received confirmation of Ivan coming out to give us a quote for a new boiler as ours was now over 17 years, so before prices go up and having to have a different system ie heat pump boiler. Ivan called us on the day saying he was held up in traffic . On his arrival Ivan looked at our old system and then walked around the house seeing what we had and then sat down to work out the price . Having received various quotes online from companies without even seeing our system that were all very competitive in pricing once we received Lewkens price on Monday. We called up on Tuesday and decided to accept the offer and paid our deposit. Later Tuesday afternoon we received a call from Lyndsey offering us a fitment date of Wednesday we nearly fell of our seats . What a service but later on Lyndsey called saying they could not source our boiler that quick in the end so we went for Friday . Three days later 8:00 am Gary their fitter was here ready to do the deed. By 11:30 everything was done completed and we were well pleased with the installation and the cleanliness of the fitter . I have read other reviews today of the company and yes there are a few negative reviews but that always happens but for us Lewken get 10/ 10 from start to finish.
