This program works to relieve chronic pain and for me I was at the point where medication didn’t help. I loved getting to choose my coach and when I could schedule my sessions. Instructions were easy to follow. And I could leave messages with my coach as needed with fairly quick responses.
Understanding the link between the mind and the physical pain has been a game changer. I find myself thinking more logically about how to become more comfortable as well as allowing my mind to not increase the pain due to the anxiety and or stress over having the pain.
Colleen really cares about me growing and she is always encouraging during our session. I very much like my coach. She is direct, kind and understanding. I have been introduced to some new techniques. I can’t say that my pain has gotten better but the mental aspects have helped some. We have been trying different techniques to see what resonates with me. I will stick with it for a while and hope at some point to lessen my discomfort.
I absolutely love my therapist. Aaron somehow makes my pain go away. I am trying to learn what he is teaching me. It isn't always easy. I have a few sticky notes at my home and at work. I am grateful that my Pain Clinic and DR Adler suggested I try Lin Health and that they help pay for my sessions. I lost my son last August and my mom last February. My neuropathy was feeling alittle better with medication but with Aarons' help, it has decreased and I am taking a smaller dose.Denise D
I cherish the relationship developed with coach Gloria over the weeks of this program. She skillfully and kindly guided me through the many sessions and phases of the program. Yes, there is LOTS to learn! I appreciated the holistic approach that the modules revealed. Some of it is a bit repetitive (and simplistic) if you have been working on chronic pain for a while but well worth hanging in for the healthy tips and processes that help in day to day living with pain. I am much improved overall and very grateful for the easy format of the personal zoom sessions and the end result of a lighter heart, body and mind around chronic pain. A VERY open mind will help speed up the results as well as self- compassion if and when you slip into old ways.
