I ordered two pick and mix advent calenders, the ordering process was nice and easy, delivery was prompt and items were well packaged.However, the reason I chose to order online was because my daughter has coeliac disease and being able to pick each individual chocolate and check the ingredients is great also to save me the hour round trip to buy them from my nearest store. Luckily I checked the contents as soon as they arrived because although my daughter's calender was all correct, my sons was not, 16 out of the 24 chocs were wrong, all flavours he didn't like.I reported the issue to costumer services via email, I had an apology and a refund for the one calender within a few days, but it did mean I had to do the one hour round trip to the store to buy the correct chocs anyway, which defeated the issue of ordering online, and cost me 11.50 for 16 chocs. So in the long run ended up costing me more than if I had just gone to the store in the first place if you include postage and transport costs. So frustrating.
I've used Lindt a few years now for some corporate gifts but this time was not so great. My parcel was delivered to the wrong address. I had to investigate using the picture provided by Royal Mail and by using the powers of Facebook. I had someone recognise the address so I went round and luckily they handed over the parcel. Then I noticed that they had only sent one of the two boxes of pick and mix ordered and I was missing a bar of chocolate. It is very hard to get hold of them, no telephone number anywhere. I emailed the customer service and I've eventually been told they are refunding a box of the pick and mix which was missing. No mention of the bar of chocolate so I guess they can eat that from me. Wouldn't rush to use them again I'm afraid, despite being a big lover of Lindt chocolate.
