Do not bid on this site. The response time for them to get back to you is nil or ages after. I won a set of autographs the shipping costs were absolutely ridiculous. Sourced my own shipping company who were way cheaper however the company i had bought from made it so had for me that i never received my goods. Have emailed LiveAuctioneers no response. Find another auction site. This auction site is no good!
I have bought through Liveauctioneers for years. Always a great experience with the platform and sellers. I had a issue with a seller not sending my goods for weeks. The sellers customer service and shipping lines went straight to VM for days. Emailed the seller multiple times. No call backs or emails. I reached out to Liveauctioneers customer service and they had me a tracking number in 24 hours. I really appreciate them jumping and resolving this for me! I have won and paid for auction items on January 3 by Florida Estate Auctions and have not heard a word from them. No acknowledgment, no shipping or tracking numbers. The only reply I have had was a single question mark when asking about tracking numbers.
I am not confident I will receive these items and fear I will have to began legal proceedings.
The payment department has REFUSED TO ISSUE A REFUND for a purchase I made using their payment platform, which I later returned. Moreover, I have not received any direct contact information to discuss this issue personally. The merchandise was returned and delivered on 12/15, yet I am still awaiting a refund. I have made several inquiries through the support team, but have received no response.
No issues with the platform, but had a disappointing experience with the auction house. I won an auction titled "1 oz Circulated Silver World Bullion Coins .999" which showed 11 coins, but I only received one. The misleading aspect was the use of "COINS" in the title; it should have specified coin, especially since only one was delivered. This feels quite deceptive. The platform might want to reconsider their association with this auction house.
It has now been seven months, and I've received no help whatsoever. I thought I would give a reasonable time frame for things to be resolved, but all I hear are excuses about handling a large volume of emails. This situation is unacceptable. Many people are voicing similar complaints about your actions while you continue to deflect responsibility. The auction house I dealt with was clearly fraudulent, and yet you allow them to operate under your name. If such actions occurred here, there would be serious legal consequences. This is truly disappointing, and I will share my experience with others.
Overall, this platform is quite good for bidding, featuring a nice interface for live auctions and a reasonable variety of auction houses. However, the recent introduction of their shipping process is very disappointing. They wanted to charge me $463 to ship two fishing poles, which seems excessive. It feels like they are unaware of more affordable shipping options like USPS, UPS, or FedEx, opting instead for a trucking company. This setup is poorly managed and nearly deterred me from bidding; I believe it could negatively impact their business.
Honestly, I thought they ahve a ton of neat stuff on their platform. Lots of different sellers. What they don't tell you anthing about it that if you have to select the option to have your winning lot "shipped through liveauction services" That they are running a shipping racket. I won a lot of 50 marbles for $160, SOMEONE make it make sense to me that these little balls of glass need some crazy "proffesional" packaging that costs me $106 to ship them. Also the Company is slow to respond to emails.
I got a call from a Travis Baxter saying he worked for liveauctioneers number read Indiana. He said our gallery would be on liveauctioneers and case Manager would call to help manage our collection. I paid $700 2 times! (500 plus 200 then he said he didnt receive the money when my partner actually sent it) and now the account only logs on charish which looks fake and liveauctioneers account says its restricted and requires more payment. I emailed for help and called and was told this person doesn't work for jasper45 ...so confusing..I wanted to launch my auction in October and was told i need to pay September for the 3rd time then October to be able to run an auction! Ridiculous! What a scam! Charish says it wont accept Canadian sellers either. Please give me my money back $1400 US! Your website and staff are confusing. So many seller profiles empty now I know why. I would like a full refund or rectify this problem immediately. I thought your company was reputable.. please refund me or allow auctions to run for those who paid
