We received our sauna. We had an electrician expertly install it in our basement. When we turned the heater on for the first time, the boards of the sauna started smoking and became black and charred. We contacted the company and were told not to turn the heater up so high. We tried this and this time the heater actually started on fire with flames.

I ordered a sauna from *livesaunas* in late November 2024, with the expectation that it would ship within 30-35 days. However, after several months of delays, I was informed in late January 2025 that there had been a problem during production, preventing the sauna from being installed. I was told they would need to make a replacement sauna with no estimate as to when they could do this.The communication throughout the process was very poor. Despite reaching out multiple times, I received vague and inconsistent updates. At one point, I was told the sauna would ship by mid-January, but that never happened. I had ran electric and made arrangements for installation, so the delays were particularly frustrating.When I expressed my frustration, the company offered either a full refund or a $300 compensation if I continued to wait. Neither option addressed the inconvenience I had already experienced. At this point I’m not even sure this company is legitimate. While I understand that delays can happen, the lack of clear communication and the insufficient compensation made this a very disappointing experience. Based on this, I cannot recommend *livesaunas*
